The actual rating would be more like 4.5, but the toilet in the room was one of those very short ones. Makes it hard for seniors. My guess is that the lodge gets more adults that kids and the those a standard size toilet would make more sense.

I like the view of the wetlands preserve and the mission mountains. The facilities are great and would be perfect on warm summer nights. The beds are comfortable, the rooms are spacious which I absolutely love and the staff is amazing. I also like that there’s a door to the outdoors right inside the room.

Wonderful hotel!
Extremely clean. It’s mud season and there wasn’t a speck of mud or dust in the room. Great bar with very friendly staff. Benches outside to sit and watch the sunrise (although it can be seen from the restaurant and east-facing rooms) and sunrise (magnificent). Restaurant does a great job with breakfast and again, great staff. The gift shop/coffee shop has many “Montana” gifts and good pastries. The museum next door is a surprising gem! Any interest in history? Go! Not interested in history? Go anyway!
