Elevator was not working and we were on the second floor so we had to take the steps every time with our luggage. This created an inconvenience. We only had a view of the parking lot. Not a big deal because we were not in the room that much. There was a bit of a musty smell.

The boiler exploded and there was a gas leak around 1:30 am by the time the coast was clear gas levels down it was almost 4am by the time we could go back inside grab all of our belongings. Had to spend an extra $300 on a way lesser hotel in the area since everything was booked.

poor experience -not sure if I will be back
I've stayed here dozens of times and I have had various of experiences mostly positive. This last time was absolutely horrible. When I checked it, it was only then I was told no pool ( the reason why I booked this place for the entire stay. not happy but ok. When I got to my room, not only was there no remote but complete snow on tv, weird mildew/mold smell throughout the room. I tried numerous to call the main desk, no one picked up. I went back to the front desk ( I had to drive since the room was at least a mile from the main lobby) only to be told that they would get someone there. Finally (about 30 mins later) someone came with the remote ( he said they have a history of people stealing remotes and some Lysol spray- smh), but he couldn't do anything about the tv engineering had to come. I have to wait for someone else. That person NEVER came until the early morning after ANOTHER visit to the front desk (when I asked he said he left early yesterday and no one else would have been able to do it)...so no tv and no pool and I paid a premium price. Breakfast was not Free or did anyone give me any accommodation due to my inconvenience. Also, they had some Jewish event ( they predominately work with the Jewish faith and follow their ordinances - so it was quite loud) That was my last straw I booked 3 nights and I only stayed one. Hotel not to far away had a pool, FREE breakfast, and tv worked. Vacation salvaged!

While the room was clean there was literally food and garbage in the hallways. Unbelievable! Toilet was clogged, AC would not shut off in our room unless we manually shut it off. We paid for garden view and had the view of the parking lot, dumpster and a bulldozer. Indoor pool advertised but under maintenance when we arrived.

My son and I wanted an escape from the city so we came here for a night. Hotel has very limited food options (actually no food option only breakfast menu in the morning) the room smelled terrible. The limited pool hours are ridiculous.

We really enjoyed our stay. The staff were excellent and very helpful. The beds were super comfortable. The only thing holding us back from a full 5 star was the room had some issues. The AC would not cool the room enough but it was in the high 90’s so it could have just been overwhelmed. There were some other odds-n-ends that were a little disheveled too, like a broken drawer, broken ice bucket and a lamp that wouldn’t turn on. The property was very busy and hosting a full wedding party at the time, so I’m guessing the broken items were simply oversights due to the heavy traffic/use during our stay. The overall aesthetic of the property was excellent and the entrance and common areas are gorgeous! Again we were very happy overall and looked at the minor inconsistencies as a timing thing and not reflective of how I suspect the property usually is.
