Disappointed.
Really turned off when I walked into the room. Time for a remodel. Carpet is a hazard as it has wrinkles and needs replaced because someone could trip and fall. Told that the breakfast was a "Golden Corral" Breakfast. Not even close with prepackaged warmed up frozen food. pancake maker didn't get the pancakes done. Put in a waffle maker would make the breakfast more attractive. Chipped paint in the rooms. No space to put anything.

A nice stay.
The stay was very nice. Hospitality was great. Breakfast was plenty of selections. The Applebees was excellent. The check in was not so great. No fault of the hotel or myself. Issues were with Hotels.com and thy hotel.

CONS -The rooms are being refurbished & ours was just completed. It has a very strong smell of paint & the sink linked underneath. I reported both to the front desk. PROS- Front desk was very helpful at checkin. Because of the construction the elevator wasnt working but the gentlemen at the desk met was at our car without even being asked & helped carry our bags up to our room. Beds & pillows were comfortable.

When i arrived i was told they couldn't check me in. I was told my "virtual card" was declined. I paid through expedia 2 months prior. The card that was declined was the payment method from expedia. Then i was told that i needed to contact expedia to solve issue. Even though i had my receipts and the error was between the hotel and expedia.

Place was going through some renovations, but our room was ok, the maze of hallways to find our room was difficult and with loose carpet. The breakfast might have been the best continental breakfast ive ever had!

Even though we had a bit of a hiccup when we checked in the overall stay was good. It was an older hotel and they were renovating. Everyone was friendly. The Applebees inside did not have the greatest service. Plenty of other food options nearby. I would stay there again and would recommend.
