The property is beautiful but the staff is not friend and the food is prepared ahead of time outside and its cold. My suggestion is to ask the tourists or people for 2 meals and make it hot and predone. The drinks taste like juice. If you dont greet the stagf they dont greet u. Smiley was a beautiful person very helpful.for my towels and anything i needed in the room.etc Hilton is well known and it needs suggestions. Making appointments for the dinner time was horrible no appt. Available everytime we went to make one early in the morning.. the swing in the water was always broken. Etc i will not stay at another hilton hotel sorry

I was just totally disappointed. Anything that could go wrong went wrong from air-conditioning to the keys to the broken poles in the bathtub. The unfriendliness of the staff in the restaurants was terrible dishes on the table birds dive bombing for the food while you eat. I must say this the ocean was beautiful.

Big disappointment. Got a deluxe room oceanfront, nothing deluxe about it. Furniture was old and doors were chipped. Even though we are supposedly in a family friendly resort, our room qas steps away from the party area. Booking food was a nightmare; have to reserve a restaurant via app, which if you arrive after 4 you cannot. With children thats a nightmare, not to mention that the huffet opens at 7pm, a time most toddlers are sleeping. How is that family friendly. Staff rude or not caring (one spotlight was staff member that actually helped us get a refund after we chose to leave hotel 2 nights in). Like the other reviews , this is not a 5 star

This was definitely not a 5 star hotel. To start the staff is very unfriendly. This is the 1st resort I have been to where the staff never smiled and acted like you were bothering them. They would ignore you and continue talking to their friends, co-workers and not even acknowledge you. The rooms are below par. The safe was broken, the door card to access the room did not work for over 3 days and they kept saying it was the battery and it would work one time then go back to not working. The restaurants and food was terrible. All restaurants are outside with a very limited menu. Don't even get me going on the buffet.....below par food and always cold especially breakfast and never replenished. The reservation fiasco is a nightmare. There was no one to even help get a lounger to the beach. I had reserved 3 ocean view rooms and when we got there they said they didn't have that on record and we had a view of roof below us. Wouldn't even let us upgrade or try to make us happy/fix the error and I know they had openings. There was no mention in the literature that you had to bring a converter from US to use the outlets. When asked for a converter, were told we don't have any keep checking or go buy one in the giftstore for $60. I usually don't write negative reviews and give everyone the benefit of the doubt but this time I felt it was very warranted. I would never go back to this resort Mangrove Corendon Curacao. Guests should be treated well...not the case here.

The hotel needs maintenance the pool is full of mold all over the water is green ! Some parts of the hotel the roof is leaking. The staff is exceptional but the establishment needs a touch up.

My husband and I, stayed for 5 days, we really liked the hotel, it's a beautiful, safe and cozy place. However, the hotel has a serious problem with availability of reservations for dinner in the restaurants. We arrived on Sunday, and only for Wednesday did they have reservations for dinner, except for the buffet restaurant (you don’t need reservations) which one I really don't recommend. Only after contacting Expedia via chat, that a hotel supervisor made it possible for us to make a reservation for the restaurants, I recommend doing the same so that you can have dinner at the hotel restaurants.By the way, all had excellent, delicious food and great service, except for the barbecue restaurant, which even with a reservation, we waited a long time to get in, then we waited more than 30 minutes to have a soda and basically 1 hour until we started having dinner, but I can't complain about the barbecue, one of the best we've had. I would like to say thank very much to the receptionist Tamara for her kindness and professionalism. She was always very friendly and willing to help, and made a very positive difference in the service.

Everyone was super nice and welcoming in this establishment. They made this the best birthday I could possibly ask for. Thank you to each and every staff member I’ve encountered, they made the trip extremely worth it. And the Hotel was absolutely very clean and the food was good. But the staff really contributed and made this trip for me, cannot stress this enough.

Curaçao as an island is beautiful and the people are welcoming. I encourage you you get off the resort to see the west side beaches. Would recommend Curaçao but not this resort, The good: the resort is beautiful, there were always lounge chairs available by the pool and beach, you can walk to town, the Italian restaurant is pretty good and we were able to see turtles and fish snorkeling right off of the beach. The struggle: our room wasn’t ready until over an hour after check-in and the elevator was broken so we had to carry our luggage up six flights of narrow stairs, the buffet food is mediocre at best, the dinner reservation system needs a reset (you can only make reservations at 10 am for the next day so the buffet is your only option the first two days), sushi restaurant has very little choice and the BBQ restaurant was never available (even after waiting in line for reservations), beds were made each day but the floor was not swept and we had to ask for soap to be refilled (never was fixed.)
