Comfortable stay. We stayed here on a trip up and down interstate 81. The first night we stayed (a Saturday night with Sunday morning breakfast), the breakfast was not nearly as good as the second night we stayed on our way home (Wednesday night with Thursday morning breakfast) Breakfast quality makes a big difference when traveling… Guessing it’s a staffing issue? Front desk personnel need greeting/smiles/warmth instruction/reinforcement - they’re the first and last impression… they weren’t horrible, but they also weren’t exceptional. If you need a well maintained hotel, perfectly located along interstate 81 in Winchester, VA, this is a good choice. Seasoned travelers like us would give it a 8 on a scale of 10 factoring all considerations.

The stay was nice, hotel was clean. The beds were not very comfortable. From the looks of the room you would think they would be great to sleep on but they were not. The only other issue I had was that there was only 1 ice machine and it took the elevator awhile to get up to the floor I was on.

We just stopped to spend the night on our way from SC to home in NY. We were very impressed. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was large and the shower was amazing. Breakfast before hitting the road early the next morning was perfect! Thank you!

The facility is kept in great shape and dispite it fronting a highway is great for walking around the University of Shenandoah grounds and neighborhood behind the hotel. Lots of students in area.
