I have been traveling around different states in the united states for last 5 years, this has been one of the worst experience. We came at 6 pm got the keys, went in and saw that room wasnt ready, got another room after some time. This Room was horribly dirty, nobody cleaned in last one month i guess, microwave was broken, shower knob broken, blood stains on the bed sheet. We travel around different parks and just spend the night in motels for a nice sleep, and we usually dont have high expectations. But trust me, this is not worth it. Horrible experience

The area was not desirable, upon walking to my room the hallway was dirty. The bathroom looked like it hadn't been cleaned. There was a roach in the shower!!!!

The outside of the building didn’t have much “curb” appeal and the surrounding area was on the “rough” side, but the room was very clean throughout and in good repair No complaints there The staff were very friendly and helpful Nice friendly people! All in all, I would rate as good choice for budget accommodation !

The bed was comfortable, the room a generous size, and the room was relatively clean. However, the Red Lion, Yakima, is old and not maintained well. There are obvious wear marks on the laminate, porcelain (chip and stain), and what I hope was only black ink stains on the sheets. The surrounding area hosts a couple of homeless camp sites and I did not feel safe walking there.

Cheapest room in Yakima, still not worth the price
Hotel is obviously past it's prime. Door to room was difficult to open as the lock area has been broken in the past. Room had obvious drips from previous guests on the chair, table, and nightstand. Breakfast in the morning had no juice, nor any forks or knives when the only real breakfast item was waffles. While getting my breakfast another guest rang the service bell 3 times with obvious, loud conversation coming from behind the desk. I had to ask another person who was through an opening in the wall (I guess also ignoring the service bell?) if someone could come to the desk. When I asked about the missing items from the breakfast area, the only response was "We're out"

You’re kidding right?
Night time front desk guy was nice. Other than that the stay was awful. Loud, drug activity outside my window, bathroom was disgusting. The owner let himself into my room while I was sleeping, 2 HOURS BEFORE CHECK OUT, and made me get up and leave for no reason. I feel violated and creeped out I have no idea how long he was in my room before waking me up. I want a refund. This was unacceptable.

Bad stay.
Poor condition, poor neighborhood, lots of homeless people about (and in hotel). Construction noise late at night. AC didn't work. TV, internet didn't work. No tissues. No coffee or continental breakfast. Pool & hot tub empty and space used for storage. Smoke detector removed from room. Can't believe that Red Lion would have their name on this motel.

The room was dirty and smelled of smoke (this was a non-smoking room). The night stand drawer had a cigarette butt and a pile of ashes inside. The sheets were stained. Cory at the front desk was most helpful and made the stay tolerable.

State track meet stay. Yikes!
The staff was helpful and very nice. The hotel needs a major update and cleaning. The bathroom was clean and they had a nice shower. The tub had chips in the enamel. The floors were clean and the furniture had been dusted. The bed was comfortable though. The bedding seemed old and shabby and the drapes needed to be tossed out.

The lady behind the counter was great. Facilities awful. No wastebasket, no coffee maker, no Kleenex. no clock. Wifi didn't work in room. Breakfast-one waffle maker. OJ and milk in a pitcher. Generic froot loops and bran flakes but no bowls to put them in. Bread to toast but I didn't see jelly. Staff had to figure out how the t.v. worked. Carpet had many holes from smokers.
