I stayed at Brasstown Valley Resort over 25 years ago, and Iā€™ve always looked forward to a return visit. The setting is as beautiful as ever, but I found the resort to be in need of modernization. Check in was quick but sterile. I felt like a number rather than a guest. The room was spacious, but in need of updating. Food and drink prices are quite high, and the resort fee is outrageous. Brasstown Valley Resort is in a beautiful setting, but unfortunately I cannot say that the experience is worth the cost.

I enjoyed my stay at Brasstown. However, we didn't get to experience the dining as the kitchen was experiencing some issues. Hopefully, I'll get to visit again and try it then. Otherwise, expect an older crowd. It's quiet and relaxing if that's what you are looking for in this property.

We loved the drive into this property. The Lodge was fantastic and the ability to enjoy the outdoors was great. We loved everything except the rooms themselves. They seemed very outdated and not consistent with the efforts maintaining and improving other areas.
