Summers in Sydney are perfect for the beach-the temperatures are warm (average is 26º) and the days are almost always sunny. If you're there for New Year's Eve, make sure to watch the fireworks off the Sydney Harbour Bridge-the show is world-famous. Winter temperatures are cool, averaging around 16º. Make your way around the city in the middle of June and catch some flicks at the Sydney Film Festival.
