Freycinet
Home to some of the most beautiful beaches you’ll ever see, Tasmania’s Freycinet Peninsula should be on everyone’s bucket list.
Imagine sweeping vistas that take in azure lagoons, turquoise bays, pristine white-sand beaches and green eucalyptus trees against a backdrop of pink granite mountains and you get an idea what Freycinet is like. Pretty awesome. The peninsula consists of the Hazards Range on one side and Mount Graham and Mount Freycinet on the other, joined only by a narrow isthmus that leads to the splendid sweep of Wineglass Bay, which just happens to be among the world’s Top 10 beaches.
