Alphen aan den Rijn Holiday Packages

During my recent stay at the Bilderberg Garden Hotel in Amsterdam, I had a mixed experience that warrants a detailed review. While there were some positives, certain aspects left much to be desired, leading to my rating of 3 out of 5. Pros: Service: The hotel staff were consistently courteous and helpful. From check-in to check-out, their attentiveness and professionalism stood out. They were always ready to assist with any queries or requests, which enhanced the overall experience. Location: The hotel is situated in a convenient area, making it easy to explore the city. It is relatively close to key attractions and public transport, which is a major plus for any traveler. Cons: Room Quality: Despite being marketed as a 5-star establishment, the room quality did not reflect this rating. The decor felt outdated, and the amenities were not up to the standard expected of a luxury hotel. The bed was comfortable, but other aspects of the room felt subpar compared to similar hotels in the same category. Cleanliness Issues: Unfortunately, the cleanliness of the hotel left something to be desired. The most concerning incident was spotting a mouse at the breakfast buffet. This was highly unsettling and significantly impacted my impression of the hotel's hygiene standards. In conclusion, while the Bilderberg Garden Hotel has some commendable attributes, particularly in terms of service and location, it falls short of the expectations set by its 5-star rating

Overall the property was beautiful and very clean, however one arrival we were informed that we were being downgraded as they had oversold the rooms. We had this room booked for several months and had booked it specifically, so this was disappointing. We also had booked twin beds as we are not a couple, and were told that there were not twin rooms available so were left to share a bed which again, was not what we had wanted. We were offered partial refunds and 4 free drinks at the bar, how ever the bar wasn’t open when we actually wanted to use the voucher so it wasn’t much help. The fridge in the room also barely worked. The hotel itself was really pretty and the staff were pleasant.

We enjoyed the vibe in the citizenM, very close to metro and train in a nice area. The room is very tiny and not suitable for travellers have many luggage

We stayed in the 3 bed apartment at the back of the property. The apart is spacious and has a living kitchen area upstairs and 3 bed 1 bath downstairs. There are also some minor stairs in the hall to the apart entrance. The property is well kept and staff are attentive. The area is lovely. We loved our stay. Thank you.

We absolutely loved our stay at the hoxton.the staff were warm and helpful, the restaurant was great and our room was on the small side but perfectly appointed and the bathroom was elegant and spotless. We couldn’t have asked for more. We’ll be back.
