I’ll start with the bad- laying in bed getting ready for bed and a mouse goes running across the floor. I notified front desk and was moved to another room. The good- the staff was friendly, the breakfast buffet was well stocked, and is centrally located to a lot of amenities.

Overall we enjoyed having a bar in the hotel with a huge lobby seating area. It was convenient to have restaurants in the same building and nearby. The hotel is within walking distance to shopping, the Freedom trail, river walk, park, and to a rental car facility that we used nearby. Check in and out was easy. Our only downfall were two things 1) that the queen beds are European so they were smaller than an American queen bed, and 2) When we asked for more towels we waited an hour and had to call again. Then we were told they were already delivered, but we had been in the room the entire time and they were not delivered. The staff even came to the door, emptyhanded, and argued with us that they had already delivered the towels. We explained that we had been in the room the entire time waiting and no one came to the room. They finally brought us new towels. Having the staff argue with us was frustrating and surprising, but the overall stay was great.

The hotel was being picketed when were there. We woke every morning at 7am by horns and drums. Neither Expedia or Hilton warned us about this.

There was a group picketing the hotel when we were there. We were woken by drums and horns at 7am every morning. We had to walk through the picket every time we left the building. EXPEDIA nor Hilton made us aware of this.

Had a horrible experience at the Hilton Park Plaza, was worried for my safety when someone started knocking on my door in the middle of the night. Plus property is very outdated, not clean, no amenities. Don’t stay there, for the price they charge you can stay somewhere else in Boston!!!!!
