This property was perfect for an overnight trip on my way to a wedding in Vermont. I flew in to Boston and opted to stay outside the city for a night. Then pick up my rental car the following day. Which worked out perfectly bc there is a lovely enterprise rental car office just down the street from the hotel.

My family really enjoyed our stay at the Cabot Lodge. That said, I feel that the individual room layouts require customers to be more nimble and svelte than the average American. If more than one person is staying in a room, there is no privacy, especially when it comes to the bathroom that is only separated from the rest of the room by a thin glass door. Overall, it is as if the designers wanted to maximize the number of available rooms in the lodge to the detriment of a more standard sized layout within each. All THAT said, I would definitely stay there again as it is clean, the staff were wonderful, and the location can’t be beat!

Great room but AC was hard to use
The Cabot Lodge is a wonderful gem in Beverly, Mass. Although the rooms are small they are well appointed and beautifully decorated. The only problem we had was working the AC system and therefore slept in a warmer room than we would have liked.

Very sweet little guest house in a nice shopping area. Rooms are very comfortable. The only thing that was challenging is that you can hear other people and doors opening and closing, which made morning sleep a bit difficult. There is not likely anything they can do about it, however.
