The entrance to the room was from inside the hotel hallway. However, it also had an external entrance you could use once the deadbolt was opened. This made it extremely convenient to unload and load the car. And there was a connected restaurant where the food was very good with good selection.

The pool was closed for and this info was only provided on checkin. No compensation was offered for the late notice and staff was clearly stressed by the number of people they had to discuss this with. I did not enjoy my stay here because of it. Also security guard lurking in the lobby made me feel nervous, not secure.

Horrible experience, got to check in late at night around 11pm. Roaches running around by front doors and a bunch of guys hanging out at the entrance and along some rooms near by. Pool and water slide were both out of order and unavailable which is why we had booked for the kids here. There was no mention of that while booking and it was listed as available. Run down, should be listed as a motel. Will never stay here.
