I do like the hotel and have chosen to stay there each visit to Brisbane since 2018. What I did not like was that, after having paid the cost for having an infant in the room, I was charged an additional cost so the infant could have something to sleep on. With these two charges it costs more to have an infant in the room than an adult. It appears to be a pricing structure that says, 'families are not welcome '.

Our second stay at royal on the park has been just as great as the first time. Exceptionally friendly & helpful staff, a beautiful old world charm that only the Royal has to offer & convenient to event we were attending. The parking is soo easy compared to a lot of other places also. The Royal on the park will be our go to from now on when visiting Brisbane. Markets across the road in the park are enjoyable to browse & no shortage of food options around the area & the restaurant in house as well. Pool was lovely for a quick dip on a hot day & since the last time we visited they now have a poolside bar which is a fantastic idea. Wish we could stay longer but we will definitely be back again soon

This place never disappoints. We’ve been coming here on and off forever it seems and it’s one place you feel relaxed in the old world charm and beautiful accommodation. So close to everything yet quiet with the beautiful botanical gardens on your doorstep. Value for money, lovely breakfast, staff wonderful and beds so super comfy. Family, couple or single traveller friendly. Highly recommend you stay here whilst visiting brisbane.

Being an overnight stay and having to catch a flight the next morning Made late booking when I got off international flight at around 10 am taxi to hotel for sleep went for walk and early dinner in city back to hotel ready for early flight next morning. I choose this hotel for its location, as it is across from the Botanical Gardens so my outlook was nature not other buildings. It has all the facilities you need and is still close to shops, transport, a walkable distance.
