Shasta Pines was well worth the nightly price. Check-in was fast and easy thanks to Michelle. Room was clean and spacious and had all the amenities. The immediate area was clean and safe and walkable with stores and restaurants nearby. I highly recommend Shasta Pines.

Spend the night at the Shasta Pines. Super easy Area to walk and get something for dinner wake up get coffee and head to Lassen National Park. I would stay here again in the area

This was our second trip to The Shasta Pines Motel in the last year. We had the same room both trips, two queens just down from the office in the front building. Check-in was quick, and the manager friendly. The newer rooms are in the back building, seemed to be occupied by people staying while working in the area. Room seemed clean and the bed was comfortable. Bathroom was small with the sink in an alcove near the beds. The floor squeaks with every step, same as last time, not sure if the same in all rooms, probably an install issue. The two chairs with the table are uncomfortable, as you seem to sink down more than a little too low, we used bed pillows as bottom cushions. Fairly quiet and located in the center of town. Got a call about 30 minutes after checking out that we had left a garment bag, we backtracked to retrieve them, and appreciated the great customer service. Overall a nice small town motel.

Friendly checkin. Outside stairwell leading to the room was dirty, needed cleaning. Room was missing hair dryer, older remodel. Shower curtain was so long into the tub we stood on it. Pillows were hard. Room was quiet with a solid feeling second floor.

For the price, no complaints. The hotel's on the older side, but to be expected. We made a nearly last minute decision to go to Burney. We picked the hotel for its availability, 2 bed option, price, and location to Lassen Volcanic National Park. The manager is super friendly. We took her suggestion and ate at the Outpost Steakhouse, conveniently next door so no more driving needed. The steak was super tender. Hit the spot after a hard hiking day at the national park.

Restaurant recommendation (steakhouse next door) was awful - slow service and terrible steak (cut was super cheap and wasn’t cooked medium - was definitely rare), pop was mostly ice and it took forever. Room itself was in need of work. Looked and felt like a motel 6. Not worth the cost.
