Great little rustic cottage with a beautiful mountain view. The restaurant had great food for a reasonable price. I would highly recommend and will definately keep in mind for my next stay in Jasper.

Nice location, disappointing rooms.
The lodge's location is fantastic, surrounded by mountains that create a perfect "lodge feel." However, the rooms require significant improvement. Numerous issues, such as a noisy toilet, a bathroom door that doesn't lock, and a malfunctioning thermostat, need to be addressed. Additionally, the cleanliness and overall upkeep fall short, especially given the high price to stay there. While Jasper is always a wonderful destination, I would recommend exploring other accommodations when visiting.

Nice property with quaint but odd room. Fireplace and 2 easy chairs but no place to place a drink except on the floor. Bathroom sink not in bathroom and very cramped. No sink plug so shaving challenging and water wasteful. Dinner on the open air deck was very nice, but previous breakfast mixed-trad breakfast fine but “healthy” breakfast poor-miniscule amount of granola with past best before date fruit. Small fridge in room worked, needing to ask for water glasses and “borrow” spoons for in-room yogurt (after breakfast fail) not so good. Lack of kitchenette problematic when dining uneven and expensive.

Positive: Lovely lodge, beautiful views, gas fireplace in every room. Helpful staff. Negative: No room cleaning during the duration of our stay (6 days). To be fair, we did not ask, but would be good to at least have the garbage removed on regular basis.

There are many positives to staying at the Overlander Lodge. it has an incredible view on the terrace the restaurant there serves fantastic breakfast and dining options. The staff were super friendly and recommended a fantastic brewery to dine at which was only a 3 minute drive from the lodge

Inside of property looked older than expected but it was very clean. One note- i was startled when the fireplace automatically came on while sleeping- evidently it is linked to the thermostat which is no problem, but I wish I would have known.

Very well maintained for an old building. Lots of history here. The washrooms are small but the room was very clean and the mountain views were impressive. Very friendly staff at reception and in the restaurant.
