My family and I spent 5 days at this resort. We enjoyed the facility, as the beach access was perfect for us. Staff was very friendly and accommodating, especially Reyna (our housekeeper) she went above and beyond while taking care of our room. As well as Janer (our agent through Expedia), he managed our reservation as well as the cabanas by the beach. My family and I felt safe and welcomed throughout our stay from the minute we checked in, including when we were on the beach. The staff made this vacation awesome and I would come again.

The beach is its main attraction. The air conditioners are limited to 24 degrees Celsius, so the rooms aren’t that cool especially for the summer time. Common areas are pretty warm as well. The food is okay overall. The staff is great, so management is the issue, more focused on bottom line than repeat customers. The rooms themselves are nice at the Altitude side of the property.

When I get there to check in at Altitute Krystal they did not have AC working so they put us at Krystal Grand Cancun. They said I would be moved in two days but did not happen. Elevators have no AC. The rooms are super hot also. Food is not good at all. I wish they would have let me know before my trip that Altitude Krystal Cancun was not available at all.

Everyone was really friendly and helpful. Janer was the person in charge during our stay and he did an amazing job in making sure all of our questions were answered, he guided us our whole trip. We stayed at a presidential suite and the view was amazing. Everything is a 10 minute walk from the resort. The beach view is speechless, restaurants and buffets amazing.

From the moment we walked in it was dirty and loud. There was only two working elevators. They were beyond dirty, puddles of water on the floor and took about 15-20 to go up or down. Our original room we booked wasn’t available, we ended up in a double queen room. It smelled very funky, dirty sheets on one of the beds. You could only take about a two minute with cold water before the shower started almost overflowing. Very glad we were only there for one night.

This hotel needs a zero rating. Booked for Altitude, was placed in the Krystal grand. The air in the room did not work properly and the refrigerator did not work at all. Requested compensation and was told we could check out. Was offered to move to another room, 50 minute massage and dinner on the beach. Booked the dinner, went down prepared for dinner and never received. Carlos argued with me to tell me it was booked for the day before. Which is was definitely booked for that day which was also my birthday. Nobody was helpful at all. Reached out to Expedia and was given 197 in OneKey. This was a 1600$ booking and I am very unsatisfied. If you have a choice, stay away from Krystal, Krystal grand, and the altitude hotel all located in Cancun.

Property was old and outdated. 4 elevators & only 2 work, so we were cramming to get up and down to our desired floors. To make matters worse the AC did not work. We were lucky enough to get a fan, but that was only good for when you stood or laid directly in front of it. Overall the staff was nice and food was good.

We had booked to stay in the altitude tower. When we arrived, we were told that the altitude tower was closed due to lack of AC. The tower has been closed for three days and the hotel did not notify us ahead of time that we would not be able to stay in the altitude tower, which we had paid extra money For those amenities. They offered us another room which we previewed and it was very hot smelled bad and was very dirty. They gave us another room which they said was an upgrade and it did not even have any lamps in it, The AC was also not working in this part of the hotel. When we went to speak with the management about it, they lied and said that the AC was working and that it would be cooler in a little while. We spent one night with the windows open, and the air conditioner was never working. when we went to check out the next morning, the dayshift told us that the AC in that part of the hotel had also been out for three days and probably would not be working for another four or five days since they did not know what was wrong with it. Expedia should not book anyone at this hotel due to the condition of the non-upgraded rooms, the staff who do not tell the truth to the customers, and the fact that they did not notify us ahead of time that the AC was not working in the resort.

We arrived at the resort & almost instantly noticed of how absolutely hot it was when we walked in, we were greeted by a nice man & led us to the check in counter, everyone in there was soaking in sweat and there were small standing fans here & there. We were going through checkin, almost done when at the end he notifies us that "by the way we have no a/c throughout the resort, and don't know when it'll start working" according to him it was only a few days that it hadn't been working. He said we are moving all of our reservations to the main tower that has some what of a/c, we asked if we could go up to the room to see exactly how hot it was before we checked in. The room was horribly hot, mind you it's July in Cancun, so it was extremely hot & humid. I asked why no one had notified us about this prior to our arrival & he said they didn't because they didn't have our booking information since we had booked through expedia! So according to them they had no email no nothing, but when i went in to checkin they had everything. We later asked an employee if he could tell us how long they hadn't had a/c & he said that they were lying to us at the counter about the time frame of which they didn't have any. He said they hadn't had a/c since tropical storm beryl had hit & there was not really a specific time of when it would be fixed. The man at the counter even told us, oh it's really not that bad at night you can just open the balcony doors to let the air in. It was horrible

Did not have opportunity to stay in the Altitude resort due to the air conditioning being out and it was a total inconvenience of having to downgrade and still deal with air conditioning not working either in the grand resort.

They didn’t check us in the Altitude building. The Krystal Grant was not clean, the AC was not working, the staff was not willing to help and give the attitude of we don’t care about the guest at all. We have to wait for 15 mins for the elevator, they shut down 2 elevators out of 4. I will never go back to that hotel and I am requesting a refund for the difference between the 2 building.

Prime location at Hotel Zone- best beach area! Food options are good, staff members are very friendly, facilities very clean. Elena at Alltutude Tower made our vacation very relaxing, easy going and very memorible with her hospitality services .
