The staff was amazing. In the buffet dining area, Manuel and Darvin are beyond exceptional. Paula is a wonderful hostess. Henry in the lobby bar is also superb. If you see Henry, have him make you a "Henry Special", you will not regret it.

Place is not a 4star or 5 star property like it wants to charge or proclaim to be. It’s very much a generic 2-3 star resort that will try to get you to buy a time share/resort package deal. You will pay way too much here unless you do this meeting. Also too many non resort people come from off the beach. I saw 3 drug deals happen on the premises and I would not bring my kids here if people can freely walk on the property. Too much misunderstandings like they call it. I saw plenty of guest upset and staff just shrugs their shoulders unless of course you are a member or owner of the Solaris family. So people like me pretty much get used and looked over. It was not a good experience thank god for the sunshine always good in Cancun. All other things just seem to be scams too bad.

Overall the property is good. I have stayed there multiple times. This recent stay, the air conditioner in the room broke down after 2 nights. Contacted house keeping, the front desk on the phone and in person. No one ever came. Had to resort to leaving the balcony doors open only to wake up to a damp room every morning. Not comfortable at all. Even clothes were damp.

Everything was great EXCEPT ROUNDTRIP TRANSPORTATION. I payed round trip before two days before leaving. When I arrived Nobody came to pick us up. I had to pay Again one way $110 to hotel. Luckily taxi back to airport was only $35 If I ever go back it will be with round trip transportation from the resort. I’m willing to pay for that service but Not $230 getting screwed over. My sister and I were told if we didn’t pay again then there will be no transportation We walked around for 2 hours looking for someone to take us and help us but the main cartel would yell to everyone we spoke to and nobody helped. Mine you I had the purchase of round trip receipt on my phone. Even showed the company with black pants orange shirt. Still I had no choice but to pay total $230 Can someone please answer why this happened to us?? Thanks Tonya Bowlsby room 8340

This has got to be the worse food I have ever experienced in a all inclusive and I have been to many , my poor kids were begging to cut the trip short bc they could not take the food anymore , there was not decent meal we had besides the donuts by the pool , the property is very old , ran down and needs a lot updating , breakfast was Ok but other than this nothing was good , no authentic Mexican food at all , last dinner we did buffet and it was sooo bad my kids had to eat bread and butter to not go to bed hungry . The staff was great I will say , and entertaining was fun , if this is all you care for this is your place . I will never stay here again , it was my kids first time in Mexico and they never want to go back which sucks bc I love Mexico .

The hotel is run down outdated would benefit from updating them. The buffet really needs improvement foods aren’t too good. My mother’s Ac did not work throughout our whole stay and they never fixed it. I was with my teenage children I got two rooms and we were super far apart I couldn’t get them to keep us together. Very inconvenient for a big family. I don’t think I will be coming back here again.

Other parts of the building seemed outdated. I can find used utensils on some areas. It’s not the staff fault though, people need to be considerate and put their trash in the proper places. The best part of this place are the staff. Warm, friendly and accommodating!

The hotel is okay, but only one place to eat and the food wasn’t great. They say they have 4 dinner place but is not True. Will not stay in the place again if we go back. And I don’t recommend.

They make you do a timeshare as soon as you walk into the hotel, unless youre a member youre treated poorly. The only esy we foubd service was if we kept tipping them. We coukdnt reserve any restraunts , as they were fully booked and the app was down, and when asked to be helped at the front desk they werent of any help.
