Services was great, beaches were beautiful…. But there was major construction on pools and rooms causing lots of noise all day and ocean views were obstructed. only one pool was open and half the snack bars were closed. Zero notification from hotel prior to arrival and seeing the construction our selves. They also moved the live feed cam so you can not see the construction prior to arrival(see photos), that being said I would never stay at this resort again!

so many good things to say, but the staff are what make this place so great. let’s start with our butler, Miguel. so friendly and personable. my partner and i came to celebrate our birthdays which happen to fall a day apart. miguel went above and beyond to make our days special - one of which he was not even on site for. miguel was prompt to answer any and all questions/requests. if we come back we will request him for sure. yolanda the beach side waitress was also a stand out for our trip. she was so nice and funny and seemed happy to be there and help. was sad to say goodbye!! we ate at the oriental restaurant a few times but the hibachi table was the highlight. gustavo was AMAZING. the best hibachi experience i’ve ever had and i come from a large city. the last standout i’ll mention is Fermin (spell check) who works the omelette station at the breakfast buffet. he was amazing. the best smile. remembered us and our order each time. and we as just so kind and good at his job. the food was pretty good overall, some of the restaurants aren’t currently open but i assume due to season and construction. there was only one pool open which didn’t bother us as we came to see the ocean but that is good info for people to have prior to coming. the property was clean. the room service incredible rooms cleaned before 8:30 am each day. i will say the only downside of the resort was the number of merchant vendors walking the beach and hiding from police in our villa walkways

Our butler Jessica was awesome. Andrea at the pool was wonderful. Yolanda at the pool always had a smile and was always checking to make sure that we did not need any refills. Armando at the pool bar was also great and attentive. Edgar in the deli/ice cream area always greeted us with a smile. We had so many servers that were just excellent (I can’t remember all of their names). The AC in our villa was not great. Some of the food that we got could have been warmer in the al la carte restaurants. The main pool was under construction which was a bit of a bummer. I did not like the vendor stands that were set up at night, I felt that they were a bit pushy. If you are invited to a VIP dinner I would suggest that you go, they do not try to sell you anything and the dinner was delicious. Our overall experience was fantastic. I would go again.

We stayed for a romantic birthday weekend. The butler ensured the room was ready for a surprised bday weekend with balloons and champagne. Yajahira made our diner reservation including a candlelight dinner on the beach and an Italian dinner. The only issue is they did not have lobster as was promised (we were ready to pay extra). She also made reservations for our couples massage which was excellent. She was available via text and at the resort was very responsive the only other issue we had is that they were updating the Bali beds the weekend of our stay and there were trucks outside of our villa from 2am on. The Bali beds were not available u til the afternoon of the day before we left and the day we left. She arranged for us to have another on the other side of the resort but they were very old and worn. I’m sure now who ever stays will get to enjoy amazing Bali beds. The food was great! We loved the chef at the buffet Victor who made us delicious seafood plates once he realized my husband did not eat beef, chicken or pork. Also we had breakfast and lunch daily at the middle restaurant ( Sal?) and the waiters never disappointed. We had the best coffee and seafood soup ever. We would definitely return! We never left the resort as it was. 4day stay and had everything we needed at the resort.

We had an ocean front villa and the room was incredible great views and secluded. Pool cabanas and bar were good. We enjoyed lunch at the prime steakhouse the most.great food and service the Japanese steakhouse was also great. Cons were no bar service from our private pool lack of bar service from beach villas, overall poor food selection and quality, overall restaurants average. No cold coffee option at coffee bar, no bottle water except initial 2 bottles.

The staff were the friendliest wonderful people, the resort was beautiful, the food and drinks were absolutely delicious, and the whole vibe was so perfect.

Butler Jessica was amazing. She made our stay! She arranged our reservations for dinner, the spa and our cabanas at the beach or adult pool. She provided us ice when required. Tailored our mini bar for the drinks we wanted. Decorated our room with rose petals which was soo beautiful. She kept us informed of all the events and activities going on daily. And was supportive and kept us in the loop on what was happening at the hotel during the tropical storm, even though she was at home!

Yajahira was amazing! She was our private butler for the Villas. She made our stay so convenient and stress free by making dinner reservations, answering all of our questions, setting up our anniversary dinner!

Everything was excellent until the night we went for our dinner reservations, and we were told to leave because my husband had on flip-flops and not enclosed shoes !!!!
