The hotel is revamping the dining areas and kitchen so for a few weeks the dining / bar options are downtown local,all easy to get to The pool/hot tub and gym are excellent. Canmore is an excellent walking town and as mentioned ,plentiful dining and sightseeing options

It’s a good value in Canmore. Restaurant was under construction when we visited so no VIP drinks but the property was clean and staff were nice. Parking is pretty good and the location is perfect to tour Canmore.

The room is nice. The fitness center and the pool are great as well. Although it’s indoor pool, you have to walk outside to get access. Walking outside is a little bit cold in the winter. Overall it’s a great hotel to stay.

Not sure why this is VIP hotel. Totally average and I had to pay 10.50 for parking, which is unheard of in Alberta for staying at a hotel. No food option at hotel due to renovation, but then no recommendations near by. No options for breakfast.

We got room 300 right off the elevator. If you don’t want to be up at the crack of dawn, ask for a different room. Check in staff was rude.

Okay but not luxurious

The bathroom was really small, no where to put your “stuff “. Also the tile floor was so cold. We had to pay extra for parking which wasn’t included in info at time of reservation.

I was incredibly pleased with my stay at the Coast Canmore Hotel! The hotel is located in a stunningly beautiful place - surrounded by mountains, which creates an atmosphere of coziness and peace. The room was very spacious, clean and modern, with a comfortable bed and all the necessary amenities. The view from the window was simply mesmerizing! The service was top notch - the staff was always friendly, polite and ready to help with any questions. I would especially like to mention the restaurant: the food was excellent, especially the breakfasts - delicious, varied and prepared using fresh ingredients. I was also pleased with the additional amenities: a swimming pool, a gym and convenient parking. A pleasant bonus was the proximity of the hotel to various attractions and walking routes. The Coast Canmore Hotel is a great place to relax for both families and solo travelers. I would love to come back here again!
