We loved the beds and bedding. We had such great sleeps. There was no introduction to the pools so we had to talk to people about the location and which pool was hot, medium and cool. No bath robes in our room. The resort is old although popular.

The best part of the resort is the outdoor pools. Oldest part of hotel is not worth the price. No coffee in room and soundproofing of any sort. Not sure if it is a kid friendly hotel, lots of complaints of noise…….resort fee is a shock

The quality of the room/facilities did not warrant the amount we paid per night. The furnishings were antiquated & needs upgrading. They offer a "quiet area" pool however they also allow children. Those two things do not go together. We were considering renting a cabin but when we viewed them we noticed they are in total disrepair. All of them looked like they need renovating, particularly on the outside, [so we could only imagine what the inside looked like]. The pools were not overly clean. The "copper" piano needs an overhaul. We rented a room for 4 but there were not enough towels/robes/coffee & water cups or bottles of water, [although to be fair they did send up 2 extra towels & I got 2 extra robes myself, from a cleaner I found on our floor]. I called the front desk requesting extra cups & water & I had to call back three times to get it. But when they did finally bring something up it was just coffee cups. No bottles of water or extra water cups. The furniture was really old & needs replacing or repairing. The TV was old. The carpet looked fairly new but it was not installed properly & there were some loose edges that could have caused a trip. For the calibre of place I was expecting from such a very well known hotel I was totally disappointed & would not return again. We have stayed at another hotel in Harrison before & it was in MUCH better shape for a LOT less money. We will visit Harrison again but it certainly won't be to go to the resort hotel.

A bit outdated. Nice rooms, great view on the lake side. Close to the beach and local shops. The adult area of the hot spring could be hotter. It would be nice to have a coed steam room. Beds were very comfortable.

Check-in was rapid and employee very friendly. Hotel is beautiful on the outside and reception area very welcoming. However hallways and rooms really need an update. In our room, we had 2 lights that did not work. The pools, hot tubs etc, are fantastic. We had a bite to eat at Island Bar which was quite good. All in all a nice stay, but rooms need a major update.
