Front desk agent when we arrived was not really welcoming. Very bad smell in the hallway. Room was clean but really noisy. It was impossible for us to sleep because of that. At least everything was clean and the front deck agent in the morning was smiling.

I have stayed at this hotel many times and been satisfied. However this time the room we had (#225) the bed was very uncomfortable - a major dip on one side of the bed. It needs to be replaced. I mentioned it at reception when I returned the keys in the morning. Hopefully it will be replaced. We have used this hotel many times as we travel to the Maritimes to visit family. It is reasonably priced & the breakfast is great in the morning so we can quickly get on our way.

Pick your room carefully
Usually book 2 doubles but this time 1 Queen. Room and bed were in better shape than doubles. Unfortunately, room 221 was close to the laundry and side door. Swear someone was drying coins for 2 hours. Then at midnight, guests came in side door and woke us up by just talking. The inside corridor doors have 2” gap at bottom that allows all noise in. Love that you can park outside your room, but I’ll be looking for a new hotel in April if management doesn’t noise proof the corridor doors.
