The building that I stayed in at the Glengarry Best Western hotel in Truro, Nova Scotia needs an elevator installed. A porter had to carry my luggage up to my room. I couldn't get my luggage up to my room otherwise. The same went for getting my luggage down from my hotel room to the main building of the hotel. There is an elevator in the main building. Until an elevator is installed, I would prefer to stay in a room located in the main building.

The staff were extremely helpful, professional and approachable. My TV was not working and the maintenance guy persevered to provide a replacement unit, which worked. It was much appreciated. The staff in the restaurant and on reception were all excellent.

Excellent service and a preferred hotel choice.
The use of coffee pods in the rooms is the reason for the eco score. I understand the convenience for the hotel, but the waste is a poorly recycled material.

We had a choice of 2nd floor “pet room” (no elevator) or 1st floor way in the back of property. An unleashed dog was roaming the parking lot. I have stayed at several Best Westerns, we are reward membets… was very disappointed with THIS BW.
