The pool was so cold my toddler couldn’t even go in it for a couple minutes. The security tried to stop me from walking my toddler to our room with a towel after it being that cold. The hot tub was closed, with no real signage indicating so. I specifically mentioned I needed a pull out couch because my toddler was with us and I wasn’t sure if my son would stay with us, or his grandparents. I booked a courtyard access so my kids could have space and I had easy access to outside without going to far, especially with our beautiful weather. When I brought this issues to the managers attention I was offered a good voucher, for a hotel I will never stay at again, in a city I don’t eat out in because I’m visiting family usually. ALL the reasons I booked this specific room for this CHRISTMAS with my family, we’re not accessible to me. I would highly recommend staying ANYWHERE else

Lots to offer, but key things I wanted were not available. No hot tub, seems unforgivable for the $250/night charge. Late checkout was also not possible. Breakfast buffet had plenty of options but was poorly executed. Not worth the price.

Room wasn’t cleaned for a few days. Asked a cleaner for towels, she said she doesn’t have any but will drop some off after. Never showed up. Continental breakfast was terrible, a dog wouldn’t eat it.

This was not a really bad experience. Would say average that'swhy I give a 3 star. We really like the option of the spa and bar part. Staff was overall friendly. Room was not too bad, carpet had dirty stains on them and absolutely horrible lightning in the bathroom. Room was way to hot for the temperature it was outside. The heat in this room is out dated, no thermostat but an old switch on the vent thing(not sure what to call it). Breakfast was really good.

Just sell it already.
This hotel is barely keeping the lights on. They still have a hidabed in the suites from the 1980s. Back killer. The door for the steam shower was almost falling off its hinges. Room needs a serious renovation overall. Smells like urine. Good job. Hot tub is out of commission. Has been for two years. Heat was at a minimum in the pool and waterslides. Hard not to start shivering. This hotel was always my goto when visiting Medicine Hat. Surprisingly I didn't see any other guests. Never again.

The kids loved the water slide, except the the whole stupid wrist band thing and guests only. We wanted to let our friends kids in with ours. It this was a hassle… and f they just had the door work by key card like most other hotels this would t be an issue. Someone left thier dog alone in thier room at 6am and the dog barked for almost an hour and woke everyone up. Time for new mattresses as well and maybe time to replace the carpet. This place will do in a pinch but is pretty dated.

Unfortunately I found it very noisy from the swimming pool area when we went for breakfast. Heater in our room was noisy at night which woke me up a couple if times. The rooms are very nice and clean.
