A Disappointing, Literal Hŏt Mĕss
Positive: - Staff at Earl of Sandwich were smiley, helpful & quick - Smashburger was delicious! - Starbucks w/preorder option from app - Cool concerts - Great security - Very walkable & easy to get around Yikes: - 40 min to check in, long line & only 3 hosts. Then, one went on lunch break & the line grew even longer. - Room wasn't available until 4:16pm! After a long wait & late access to my room, it was dusty! (Weren't they supposed to have been just cleaning it? The entire "reason" my room was late?) - - Staff were unapologetic about the situations as they arose. One specifically referred to "the concert" that night as the excuse for the hotel-wide chaos. (This concert was scheduled last year, so plenty of time to plan accordingly.) Guests don't want excuses; they want good service & to receive what they've paid a pretty penny for! - Internet costs $12.99! (Who charges for WiFi anymore??) - Valets were inattentive, apathetic and one actually sighed loudly & looked at me judgmentally when I told him my door handle just started acting up. - No waters in room; not even ones to charge you for - No coffee makers - Outside windows were dirty enough to make pictures impossible - No movie channel or even decent ones - Bed wasn't the most comfy - No air cond in lobby. (Be prepared to sweat while you uncomfortably stand for almost an hour in line for a room that isn't even ready.) - BOTH self-check in machines were out of order. - VERY high prices for EVERYTHING.

We could hear the live band at the bar from the 14th floor loudly. We inquired about live entertainment and staff only knew of a DJ. Some people may not like the noise level at times. I would have liked the pool to stay open later.

Very clean rooms and property. They have quite a few options for dining within the property so I didn’t need to leave. Adjacent garage parking is very convenient. Check-in was a smooth process and instructions to the room were clear. Really no complaints this first time at the Harrah’s.

Harrah's Rincon has exceptional service. The staff is fantastic: except one bar tender. I was trying to order a drink for over 5 minutes and he stood there looking at the two girls next to me for too long and im trying to get his attention and he was just ignoring me, but then I realized it was on purpose a few minutes later.

From the moment of check-in it throughout our stay was one thing after another from the hotel representative leaving and not letting us know and we’re just standing there for assistance to the murky faucet water. The swim up bar closed at 4 PM. No live music at first down, which was advertised on their website. Being told we’re gonna be charged for seats at the pool without even disclosing any rates to us. I will never stay there again🙄

The property is very beautiful. I really like the pool areas and spa. We also enjoyed dining at several of the restaurants inside. We had family who live in Escondido come join us for dinner which made for a wonderful time. The Bell and Valet people were excellent. Friendly, helpful, and Kind. We had the best service with them. The Spa area was SO very nice, we enjoyed using the services on Tuesday and Wednesday. Everyone was very kind and helpful. The check in process was a little frustrating as there were only 2 desk associates to help a line full of people and the guests in front of me were having an issue with their check in that required management intervention. It would have been nice to move this couple aside to handle their issue and proceed with normal check-ins or ask for more associates to come assist. I was please with how many towels we received in the room since housekeeping did not come in daily. Even though housekeeping does not need to change the bedding, it would have been nice for them to come in to pick up the old towels, vacuum, and wipe down the surfaces daily.

Found a insulin syringe outside under a chair. The pool store and pool snack bar were closed. The only place available for kids to swim is in lazy river. There was no open store to buy a floating Device as stated on website. The good things about it were the room was spacious clean and beautiful, there’s an earl sandwich inside Casino and a Starbucks , pools were beautiful but too many people in them.

Hotel room werer clean. Not worth $253.00 dollars.....Restaurants were good not great but good... limited choices. 12oz beer $8.00. Only had draft beer Hotel couldn't afford at least a 16oz cup? How cheap. Talk about tight slot machines.... no winner's. Vegas much better
