Great location. Friendly staff. Surprisingly large rooms. The rooms were tired and the tiny air conditioners were too small to cool down the extremely hot rooms. The a/c was also notably dusty in a very unhealthy way. I was annoyed that a room that accommodated 4-5 people had 1 coffee mug and only 2 coffee pods and minimal other sachets. To end on a positive I would go back due to its price and location.

This property was the worst I had ever stayed, each door looked liked it was Jimmed open with a crow bar. I checked out 40 minute free I checked in! I provided my details expecting a call back and just as I had assumed.. nothing.. oh and yes they kept my money. I would NOT recommend this place.

Staff were really nice. Unit was clean but was very dated and worn. Furniture was old and frayed. Windows were old and I was unable to close one. Street noise was extreme. Pool area old with cracked tiles. Pool slide was good, although children were able to walk off slide to building ledge to jump into pool. There was no safety barrier and the hand rail at the pool slide was broken and unsafe. The pool furniture was old and dirty. Great position and close to all amenities.

Not very happy with our stay at all. The complex itself is quite dirty and so is the room. The walkways leading to the rooms were grimey and there was an egg that was left outside someone's room which wasn't pick up the whole time we were there. The light in the bathroom didn't work and the shower hose broke while we were there, the staff did get onto it relatively quickly which was great. The pool area was fun for the kids but the complex is very tired looking and needs a gurney, there is water damage inside the unit and paint coming off the wall. The beds were a little hard and the pillows weren't great, and all night all you can here is people yelling and screaming, the guests couldn't care less about keeping noise down after hours and there are police sirens and road noise going off constantly. It's fair to say, it's not a great place to relax.....I definitely enjoyed my own shower when I got home.

Our stay at Tiki Hotel was truly pleasurable and met all our expectations. The hotel provided a safe and welcoming environment, which made us feel completely at ease throughout our visit. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and up to standard, with everything we needed for a relaxing experience. The staff were attentive and friendly. The location was also convenient, close to local attractions but still peaceful and quiet. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would recommend Tiki Hotel to anyone looking for a reliable and enjoyable place to stay with a big family (of 6).

The location is absolutely fantastic. Great coffee shop opposite the hotel, Paradox. Woolworths 200m away. Salt, meats and cheese restaraunt across the road. Cavill avenue across the road. the only thing i can suggest is the property is in desperate need of a makeover, especially the bathrooms. As the rooms are not fully serviced having a vacuum cleaner in the rooms would be helpful. The pool was great with the slide, but there is a safety issue when the person going down the slide reaches the end the person falls from 1m above the water surface and 1m out, there were lots of kids swimming under the slide and serious chance of getting an injury. other than the above, the hotel was very reasonably priced and again the location was great

The hotel staff check in was very friendly. He gave us a free upgrade. He explained all the house rules and gave us directions for the nearest supermarket. The room we got had a great view which we enjoyed. The main bedroom was facing the main road which i found to be noisy at night as i can hear people and cars throughout the night. I don't know if the floor was vacuummed as my feet got very dirty after walking on bare feet in the apartment and there was no vacuum cleaners for me to do any floor cleaning myself. Otherwise I really enjoyed my stay and the location was great.
