Accommodation is almost unheard of in the heart of Hauderes. You must plan your stay in advance, as there is just 1 place to stay within 10 kilometres.

Act fast and secure a room at the Hotel Hermitage. It's the only available place near the main area.

If you don't have any problems with spending a few nights 20 kilometres outside of the city center, look into the suburb of Sion. This area's got 5 hotels available, including Hôtel des Vignes and Hôtel du Rhone.

We only booked this hotel for one night with the view of catching the glacier express in the morning but stayed for 3 nights as the town experienced bad weather with no power. The hotel went above and beyond to make guest feel welcome on the subsequent night. They didn’t charge any of the guests for the 2nd night stay as the there was no power at the hotel (not their fault as the whole town didn’t have town, infact the whole valley was without power for 2 days. On our 3rd night they only charged us token gesture of 50 franks per person which was really cheap. Absolutely amazing staff and policy of the hotel. Amazing spacious room with spa facilities at the hotel. I would highly recommend this hotel. The staff are definitely an asset to this hotel.
