I loved this place. Cute. Clean. Farmers market outside in the morning. Everyone was friendly and things were in walking distance. The only thing I would change is the beds. Not comfortable at all.

I like the location for the things I like to do. The climate is wonderful. Its quiet and clean, the lack of standard services offered by similar establishments is offset by the availability of services such as resturants, shops, groceries, gas stations, etc, all within walking distance. Clean and quiet
Check in and out was easy. Room was clean and quiet. Enjoyed our stay as a sleeping spot for our time on the north end of the island.

The property itself is well maintained and very clean. It is an older hotel which is charming. It is not at all soundproof. This would be okay, but we stayed on a Saturday night when the same property hosted a live music event. It shut down at 10pm, but we had no idea when we reserved that this event would be on. As most area restaurants close early (7pm), it meant we were in our room by 7pm and listening to the distorted noise of amplified music at a distance for three hours. Had we known about this, we would not have reserved. I appreciate that this area is suffering economically and that all businesses need to be creative in finding ways to make money. Still, this combination (evening music events plus historic hotel with no soundproofing) is probably not going to work unless they only have hotel guests who know about the event when booking and attend it themselves.
