It’s fantastic to be at Hyatt and we enjoyed our stay a lot. The ocean view from our room is spectacular and I couldn’t forget the view even until I’m back home from holiday. Room is very spacious and comfortable. Hyatt Regency is huge and the place is very clean. Staff are kind, polite and nice. However during 4-6pm is a peak period at the lift lobby and we often have to wait very long to get up/down. However, the pool is very small and is not ideal for proper swim. It’s at best for guest to soak yourself wet during the hot weather. Their gym facility is fantastic and I enjoyed using the gym there.

i loved my stay here. the rooms are so spacious which i love, i stayed in the EWA tower and my sister stayed at the Diamond tower and BOTH views are so breathtaking. So many stores and restaurants nearby that are walking distance! Can’t forget that the beach is walking distance as well! and the hotel lets you use their towels AND beach chairs if needed. Already excited to book my next stay with Hyatt.

We booked 1 room for 3 people with 1 king bed sofa bed, city view. Total price including tax, resort fee $362.0 We had to change room 2 times!! - First room, the room did not have sofa as shown in the original Expedia's photo when we booked. Room was next to elevator. - Change to 2nd room, 2 queen beds. The room was on the 6th floor with almost no city view. Most of the view was roof top of the hotel lobby, and construction site. Worse, the beg had beg bug. Reported to front desk. Front desk said manager will contact us, but no one called. - Due to bug beg issue, we complained again, changed room again. This time the room was even one floor lower, on the 5th floor right above the lobby's roof top level. From window view, all we saw for city view was mostly the roof top, and construction crane, instead. Worse, The toilet tank was leaking, so the noise of water refilling up the toilet water tank kept coming up in every 30 minutes, day and night. So tired to complaint. We paid $362 a night for 5 nights with all of the inconvenience as stated above. It was our first experience stay with Hyatt, and it will be our last.

Location was in an active area which was what we were looking for. Farmers market in the hotel first floor on Tuesdays. Good mixture of food options (high and low prices) nearby, walking distance. Parking was expected to be pricey but a surprise surcharge totaling over $120/night for parking was… a surprise. I wished the valet folks would have shared the total charge per night ($70 parking fee price AND the $58 service charge) so I could have changed my plans where I did not spend $1,000 on parking.

I was there from Sept 6-13. First, thing is that they had a party there with loud music until 10pm. They did let me know the pool area was closing early for an event but the hotel didn't mention anything about loud music. Secondly, we were charged a resort fee when we couldn't use the pool area for that day and from Tues-Fri the hot tubs was not working properly. I was told it was going to be fixed but still wasn't working properly when I checked out 09/13/2024. Also, the pool and hot tub area should have grip padding around them to prevent guest from falling.

I liked the hotel. The pool is on the 3rd floor & is really nice. There is a restaurant beside the pool. This is where you can get the free beach chairs signed out to your room. Waikiki is across the street, & the chairs are so helpful. Food is expensive-breakfast buffet is like $60. Coffee shop on ground floor is pretty reasonable. Stores have nice quality items. Plenty of nearby places to eat. Would stay there again definitely.
