It is beautiful, clean and neat, it was really nice and we loved the complementary water. We lost our bag that they gave us but it was fine, if you wanted another one you need to pay 10 dollars. The nearby bus is a short walk as well as ala Moana

Overall, the stay was excellent. The room had a great view of the ocean/dock, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean. Room service was fast and very helpful. The hotel didn't have an abundance of amenities but what they do have (pool, gym, and restaurants), they were all excellent. One small thing - we didn't have a very good experience with the concierge on the first day. She was impatient and rushed through our questions. Other than that, we enjoyed everything the hotel had to offer.

One bed suite is spacious, but literally a suite with two separated rooms. It may fit a family of 3 , while we are two ppl looking for a more open and connected suite. overall facilities are clean and new. Service is average as a 4-star hotel. The hotel does not have easy access to beach - it is next to boat docks and need some walking to the beach next to Hilton. Also the ocean view is only a partially ocean view, the window bar and walls blocked most of the view. For the same price we could have got a better option in Hilton or other beach side hotels for two

The room we stayed in had great views and to me was priced appropriately. We had our room tidied everyday and had great service over all. The hotel is clean and shops are nice to visit. Coffee was a plus. The only issue we had was when we checked in and got our key we were given a room that was occupied and ran into a couple staying in that room which was extremely awkward. Once we notified the staff they actually downgraded us to a lower floor which kinda sucked due to the inconvenience we experienced but oh well.

Prince has become our go to in Honolulu! For our family of four, the suites are amazing and the pool is shallow for our small children. Cleanliness standards are top notch and location can’t be beat. We are close enough to Waikiki without having to deal with the chaos.

While the property and staff generally were nice and clean. I was told about a late check out fee and decided to take advantage of it and each time was told it was $100. When I checked out they asked me if I would like a physical invoice or an email so I asked for an email assuming no surprises. I did not get an emailed invoice. I checked my credit card charges and the amount was more than the amount I was expecting and they charged additional taxes and fees. Did not get a copy of my invoice until I contacted Expedia to help me. Unfortunately this was a property level amount not part of the prepaid booking on Expedia so Expedia could not help. I called the hotel and they took no responsibility for not telling me about the additional taxes and fees. No refund either. I felt that their disclosure was not fully transparent so other guests should be aware.

Normally I waffle back and forth between properties before deciding on one. For whatever reason I read a couple of reviews and booked it right away with Prince Waikiki. Good decision on my part! Hotel cleanliness was impeccable. It helps that it must have been recently renovated. Location was great, away from the main drag so it’s nice and quiet. If you want to be right next to the action in Waikiki then perhaps choose a different hotel but the Prince Waikiki is a short walking distance to the main strip. We weren’t planning on spending much time on Waikiki beaches so it didn’t matter to us but we appreciated the quietness given the location. The view of the ocean and marina was beautiful, lending to a beautiful sunset view. Staff was nice and responsive to our requests including a late check out. Would dock half a star due to crowded pool, too crowded we left after 15 mins. No towels or loungers available at all. Also, parking is very limited. Had to resort to valet parking one night, no big deal as we weren’t charged valet but I just prefer to park and retrieve my own car. All in all loved this property and would return in a heartbeat
