This hotel is beautiful specially for “I love Lucy” fans. To be specific Lucille ball and Desi Arnaz. All the hallways of the hotel among other areas have portraits of them. I love how they have a bar area in the pool and inside the hotel. Also they have a show at night of people signing. Reminds me of hotels back in the day. Well at least that’s how I believe hotels used to be back then. Very unique and nice hotel. Things I did not like. Breakfast is not included and you have to pay for parking daily.

Very quiet and rejuvenating. We stayed in the South Wing on the 3rd floor in a 2 double bed room overlooking the parking area. The room had a small balcony. I was expecting the balcony to be bigger with patio chairs and table, so that was disappointing. The beds were comfortable sleeping 1 adult per bed. The Gym was small, but very nice. There were 2 treadmills, 2 weight machines, dumb bells, an eliptical machine, standing and sitting bicycles, 2 tvs and free water machine with cups. The entrance to the hotel is beautiful with a wall-sided rounding stairway that leads to each of the 4 floors. The hallways are lined with pictures of Desi Arnaz & Lucille Ball throughout the years, as well as many other celebrities from that era. The ice and vending machines were semi-difficult to locate, but we saw that as an opportunity to explore. The continental breakfast was discontinued the month prior to our visit and we felt the breakfast options were overpriced compared to surrounding restaurant's. We enjoyed breakfast at Elmer's (30 minutes away off Hwy 111) and we highly recommend. We went on a Sunday around 10am and the place was packed, but we onlt waited 5 minutes for outdoor seating. The IW Live (located just inside the hotels main entrance) is a very elegant dining experience with Live music every Friday & Saturday 6pm-9pm. We observed the entertainment from the stairway, but felt too underdressed to attend. We did not get a chance to enjoy the pool or poolside b

My stay at the property was good as usual. What I did not like was that I was not advised that my prepaid stay thru Expedia, which icluded tax and fees, did include a parking fee of $20 per night. When I questioned this charge with the hotel staff, they advised parking is not considered a part of my prepaid fees and we have been doing this for the past 5 years (?). I have been staying at this hotel for over 20 yrs. and this came to my attention when I noticed a $40 charge on my Visa from my stay at this hotel in August. This is all new to me.
