The outdoor pool is amazing and staff is very responsive to needs when you ask for something. Unfortunately, rooms are starting to fall apart, TVs are severely out-dated, and housekeeping services are dismal. We were there 3 nights and nothing, including coffee was replenished until the third night when I requested supplies that had completely run out. Many items in the room, such as doors and drawers, were broken and hard to use. The bedding was awful, there wasn’t even a comforter, just what felt like a few sheets. The pillows were old and small. The walls were stained in many places. I love the location of this hotel but they really need to start making updates to their service levels and room quality.

I called ahead to see the hot tubs were working, they said they were. One was cool and the other had broken jets. The hotel is under renovation. Plan to eat elsewhere, the restaurant food is not good. Not a bell ringer

Spacious but hotel needs upgrades
Needs improvements! We stayed in a 1 king bedroom suite with full kitchen. It was super spacious and clean but that’s about the only exceptional aspect. The toilet barely flushes, we could hear someone upstairs walking around, the shower temperature wouldn’t stay hot, the hallways smell awful like old moldy carpet, outdoor hot tub wasn’t working, and the non-down pillows were lumpy and hard. It was so bad we ended going to Canadian Tire nearby to buy our own pillows for $30. The place seem banged up a lot for what looks like a newer hotel. I was surprised that for the room type and the fact that we were there during the week when it seemed like there wasn’t too many guests, since most of the parking lot was empty, that we didn’t have a nicer view and the water temperature kept changing.

The property was really nice, and the decor for the holidays was beautiful. Unfortunately I absolutely do not agree with our room not having someone come and make our bed and replenish towels on a daily basis. Also the fact that there is absolutely no room service was a big let down. Front desk takes forever to answer the phone as well. The bedding and bath robes were full of static which made it very uncomfortable. The bed was not comfortable at all. The pillow top was lumpy. Pillows were very nice though. We did not get to enjoy the outdoor hot tub because the heater in it was not working properly. We also did not get to enjoy the pools as there was a hockey tournament and a million kids screaming and having snowball fights in the pool. No staff to regulate the noise nor the extreme horseplay outside. So needless to say, had there been staff there to regulate we may have been able to enjoy my birthday there with some kind of peace instead of 2 days of complete mayhem. The restaurant is beautiful and we experienced top notch service. The flavour of the food was really good, but the cook there doesn’t know how to cook scallops or prawns. They were like chewing rubber. Pricing wise, the restaurant is a bit on the higher side compared to other places around. I would not recommend the food there especially for the price you pay. Bottles of wine are way over priced. So over all we found that we paid for things we never got to experience. 4/10 for us. We over paid for our room.

Noisy hockey parents drinking around the pool taking up all the chairs even though not swimming and cans left everywhere, no hotel staff checking in the pool area at all over our stay. Roof leak turned off water in the rooms for a whole day and water leaking in pool change rooms left unattended. Rude staff in the dining restaurant. Seemed high or wired in someway, complaint to manager went nowhere. General manager called once after we left to return my complaint. Overall, don’t bother staying here, they don’t value your business and won’t treat you well.

Had a great stay and would recommend. There is both an indoor and outdoor hot tubs and pools that all season and are heated to be comfortable. Kept the kids busy for hours close enough to Radium and Invermere that you can drive in for dinner or activities but it’s far enough away that it’s quiet and feels tucked away in the woods. Great walking path for morning strolls. Restaurant on site was good but I would recommend heading into town for really good food. Lots of great options that are worth the short drive
