They cancelled my booking saying they had no rooms available. Now Hotels.com will not refund me my money. Be prepared to be without a room 25 minutes away from checking in and not getting your money back.

The hotel is in the heart of the old city with pubs, restaurants, gift shops, coffee shops all very close by. The Ness River and river path are very close by as well. Hotel was clean and modern inside.

We were just here one night of our travels but this was perfect for us. We had arrived by train from Edinburgh and we easily walked to the hotel w our luggage at 9pm. We didnā€™t take advantage of many of the amenities but it was in a very walkable area. We went to Hootenanny, just a few doors down for a quick drink and live music. We would easily stay there again. Our room had a slight water view and the beds were very good.

I would give it a 5 star rating but my room smelled like mildew. Only stayed 2 nights so I didnā€™t notice it first night but the second day it was bad. Only by the door but it lofted. I didnā€™t complain but it was not pleasant.
