The staff was really helpful! I especially liked the lady who ordered us a Taxi and helped us with getting us in! The breakfast was also pretty nice! The room was a tad small though and the view looked into the house - so no reason to open the curtain. However - the room was silent. Which was nice.

The hotel is located in very good location close to a lot of things. The staff was overall very, very polite and nice except for one person that was a chubby guy that’s so rude and I felt like he didn’t want to even work at the hotel , The rooms were OK, but very small size

Great location in a quiet spot just steps away from transit and the main shopping area. Very convenient location. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was clean and quiet. The room layout was a little awkward but not the end of the world. No ice machine in the hotel, which I found odd, and no gym. Enjoyed my stay and would stay here again.

This was my first trip to Kyoto. If you’re looking for a hotel that is consistently located, has a great breakfast buffet, clean and has helpful staff who speak English in addition to Japanese, stop looking. This is it. From the moment you walk into this hotel it looks elegant. We had two beds and our room was very spacious. There is a Lawsons on the block next to the hotel and its and easy walk to the river, subway and endless amounts of shops and food. Loved staying here and would stay here again if in Kyoto.
