Stayed one night with my wife and had a disappointing experience. We booked a king bed but were given a double upon arrival, and when I requested the king bed we originally reserved, we were placed in a room that was filthy and had no functioning AC—just warm air blowing all night. On top of that, the parking attendant was unprofessional and struggled to understand our questions, which made an already frustrating situation worse. No offense to her, but basic communication skills are necessary for this role. Overall, I cannot recommend this place based on our experience.

Breakfast was the best thing
Excellent service from all of the stuff, unfortunately they are not working with the best accommodations. Hotels.com allow me to reserve a room with two queens bed and a sofa bed, unfortunately there is only one room that match that description and it was already taken, it seems that it is a common occurrence that this situation repeats itself, and no one does anything to avoid from happening again. TV in the rooms are outdated, but I always travel with my Roku just in case, however the remote control won’t allow me to switch to a different input therefore could not entertain my kids with their regular shows. Electrical outlets, lamps with electrical connections are the standard type, you will need to bring the box to convert to UBS connections and charge all of your electronics. Parking is not free but $10 per night is not bad, just wish I knew in advance. Pool and Jacuzzi were great Common areas great as well The best option was to include breakfast in the reservation, the first day we were allow to order from the menu as the hotel was not that busy. The second day we had the choice from the hot buffet or the menu, all the food and choices were amazing. This hotel will remain a good choice to come back but hopefully the will upgrade their equipment in the rooms.

Hotel does not have a heat capability and rooms and other areas were freezing! Had to ask for extra blankets. About half the TV channels didn’t work, with a msg that said channel was either scrambled or couldn’t be found. Asked for maint to come fix and he spoke no English and couldn’t fix it even tho he disappeared for a while but came back with a new TV which didn’t fix the problem. He seemed to think it was a money issue? Even ESPN didn’t work. The parking was very confusing, it looked like they only had Vallet parking- once I found the self park lot it was kind of far from the hotel. Many of the workers only spoke Spanish. The hotel said they don’t award Hilton Honors points for 3rd party reservations, unsat! Very disappointed in a Doubletree property with all these issues!

The property was great, however the pick up at the airport was terribly, we waited 2 hours for the hotel shuttle,we are still waiting to hear from the hotel manager
