When we got to the hotel we were put on the 3rd floor which I was happy about until we got to the room. The room smelt of smoke and within 5 mins of us into it my asthmatic daughter was already breathing heavy. I could smell it right away and knew it was a problem. When I got down to the desk the staff was great and gave us a different room right away. It was like he knew already as soon as I said something he didn’t even question it. However, the first room had old carpets and the old style popcorn ceiling still. It was definitely not a renovated room. Good chance we just got the short stick and they crossed their fingers we wouldn’t care!

The property had some beautiful pieces of art especially the pieces with the horses. The breakfast area was not looked after, items were not refilled, garbage was overflowing, overall not very clean.

Showing its wear. No soap in the bathroom, hair in the tub and on the floor. Garbage under the desk area, so not a good cleaning job. Stains on the carpets throughout the room and hallways. We actually pulled back the bedding to see if the sheets were clean because we thought that maybe they forgot to clean our room but that wasn’t the case. Just terrible house cleaning.

Always a relaxing good stay at Days Inn in Brandon , my only minor issue is I think the pool and hottub should be open till 11pm instead of 10 pm .

The floor in our room was very sticky throughout, and the room had an unpleasant smell. Other things were clean as we wanted them to be.

Well i got this hotel for the laundry room but they first said key was out, (which they said come back any time) then said they closed it come back tomorrow morning, then said it was not open. Not impressed. It was nice being beside the arcade for my kid. I also think all the shampoo, conditioner and body wash were same and i am not sure if dove. They all smelled and looked identical.

The rooms were updated and clean. So much better than the Days Inn in Thunder Bay and less expensive. The hotel seemed clean and in pretty good overall condition. There were a couple Of security guards which had us a little worried but it seemed quiet and we felt safe.

when we checked in the hallway smelled of smoke then so did the room. i dont usually read reviews but decided to and found out others complained of the smoke smell as well. why was this not addressed before do they not care about the reviews
