It's a charming lodge set against the beautiful Shasta Hills. There are picnic tables and lawn chairs set up to enjoy the view.

Beautiful area with beautiful views Excellent bakeries with delicious bear claw pastries. Delicious sugar cookies too. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

The air is set at 71 for all rooms and is run off one central unit meaning that there is no thermostat in your room. Given that we booked the room to avoid camping in the heat and ended up with the room at 79 degrees when we went to bed we weren't thrilled after spending $400 for 2 nights. There was also a spiderweb on the bed, the shower had to be very carefully adjusted or it would go back to being cold, the front door was extremely hard to open or close, and my mom got stuck in the bathroom for a couple of minutes due to a faulty door knob. The surrounding area is beautiful however and it was very nice to have a fridge and freezer although it was odd to have to go outside to use the microwave.

we enjoyed our stay it was quiet and comfortable got extra towels as asked for I was amazed there was no phone in the room in case of an emergency since not everyone has a cell phone and didn't like the fire stick it was to confusing to use would we visit again absolutely

The a/c unit was so loud couldn’t sleep with it on or hear the tv. The bathroom fixtures were outdated and the shower made a loud noise when turning on the hot water. The area at night was very quiet except when the neighbor blasted their tv (probably because of the a/c unit). Too many flying bugs in the room which were attracted to the lights.

My daughter was traveling home and needed an overnight stop. We travel that route regularly and we are so happy to have picked this spot for her to stay. The front gal was awesome! The place looked charming but wasn’t. Tile missing in the shower, sheets that were bagging and old. Pillows were disgusting and the mattress was horrible. The heater was loud and went all night! Total waste of money!
