We stayed 2 nights. Our room didn’t get cleaned and done after the first night. Despite all the signs around the hotel, there are still people smoking, especially weed. The smell in the hallways and in the elevator was terrible at times.

The only reason for a 4 star was we were on the back of the building and I could hear the large trucks on the road. Also there were kids on the 4th floor above us running around while we were trying to rest. They stopped by 10 pm. Kids should always be placed on the bottom floor only. I travel for business at times and need my sleep. This was only a vacation, but still.

The property is in need of a makeover. The elevator needs servicing. Furniture in rooms and carpets need replacing and a fresh coat of paint all over would definitely help. Despite my initial bad impressions we still had a pleasant stay. The housekeeping staff there is amazing and so kind and polite. The hotel was full so maybe because it’s so busy they don’t have time to renovate. Worth mentioning though that they allow dogs here and they are not just on one floor. There were dogs everywhere. I didn’t know that when I booked and thankfully we have no allergies but in case you do keep this in mind. I’m t was easy to drive just about anywhere from this location.

Continental breakfast was very basic with very few choices. Waffle maker is troublesome, toasting machine wasn’t working properly, juice and coffee was watered down . Thank goodness there is a Tim Hortons close by. Bed was extremely comfortable and plenty of Hot water for that morning shower. The room was very clean.
