I honestly did enjoy my stay overall, but I would not ever stay in the ground level again. The people upstairs of us were up at about 5 am both mornings and we could hear them stomping around. That was truly frustrating, but the location, the inn itself was very nice.

Booked just a one night stay on a trip up Island. I stayed at the Sand Pebbles many times when I lived on the Island in the 1970s and 1980s when it was new. It is a bit run down now outside although the rooms were clean and adequate. The kitchenette is just a fridge and microwave, no cups or utensils which was fine for us passing through but would be a surprise for a family on holiday. A small coffee maker was supplied but I prefer to make my own coffee. Had to heat the water in the micro with the coffee cup I had bought. Having said all this, the location is beautiful and I enjoyed a great walk at 7am. Stayed August 26th 2024.

The property is what it is.. it’s ok for a place to sleep close to the ocean. Rooms were older and not overly tidy. No amenities or beach access.

They have not maintained the carpet outside the doors of the rooms. torn carpet. The rooms inside were very nice and renovated. We loved the ocean view from our room.

Very happy to find this hotel for our stay. Right on the beach (high tide rocky, low tide nice and sandy), have everything you need for your stay and near by many places to go. Little mountain lookout - must visit place to see unbelievable views be very careful, super high not for people with kids too dangerous.

This place reminded us of a 1980’s motel. Definitely needs updating. The facilities are average at best however you cannot beat being right on the ocean. There are several restaurants within a 10-20 minute walk along the sea wall.

The staff was very nice, but the room was terrible. Our oven had no handle, wouldnt open and had insulation coming out of the handle hole. There is a musty moldy smell in the ice room, spider webs all over the place and the room was unbearably hot. I would not stay here again.

Room was clean and modern. Kitchen electric sockets did not work but used others. Disappointed with balcony as once day down could only see wooden railings. Faced on to building opposite, room right next to a very busy noisy road, window only single glazed so did not sit out. Had side view of sea. Disappointed as photos of the web site looked like all rooms faced the sea. Cannot load photos to show. Hotel.com said check in 3pm check out 11am. But hotel is different check in 4pm check out 10am.
