The entire hotel was “run down” with most doors having paint chipping and walls needed paint, mold in some ceiling tiles in lobby. There was an offensive odor that they tried to cover with an unpleasant strong Lysol smell. The “free breakfast” was only coffee and a waffle maker. However, the pillows and bed was comfortable and it was close to the Grand Old Oprey. I will not stay here again.

The checkin and staff was great and friendly. Lobby very clean. Room clean but dated. The beds were TERRIBLE. Metal frames and loud springs created a TON of LOUD noise and echoed in room. Woke up every time someone just turned over. Absolutely horrible.

The staff are courteous. The facility as a whole lacks much needed general maintenance throughout. Electrical outlets in rooms are unsafe, fridge didn’t work at all, microwave made a ticking noise all night (maybe electrical issue?), no signal on TV, etc. If you’re in a room near the ice machine, it is difficult to sleep due to noise from/by the machine.

The beds were absolutely terrible. They made loud noises just sitting on them, like you are going to fall through them . They moved like your were on a boat. The walls were coved in filth. Each floor's ice machine was broken. The front desk help was inhospitable. He acted like he could careless about his job , like you were interrupting his evening. There is no refrigerator in the room. I am overall unpleased with our stay. The one good thing was I did not see bugs....

Keep Expectation Low
So I had low expectations to begin with, But the bed was an inner spring and was AWFUL. The room smelled very VERY musty, like there was a flood, The Carpet was removed, and tile was dirty, The bathroom had a folding desk with a sink, jammed against the shower door. There were holes in the wall, and the wall paper was pealing, but they used staples to try and reinstall.

Pool was broken and nobody said a thing and the free breakfast wasn’t open some morning and the card machine was down when checking in which requires me to walk across the street to the gas station atm in order to get cash to check in

The staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The property needed some fixing up. All the doors had marks on them like someone had shot pucks at them. Our bathroom door had a hole at the bottom of it.

Chipping paint everywhere. Most room doors paint was chipping off. Clock and phone did not work in my room. (They did bring me a new clock) Building is run down. Ramada needs to have better standards if it is a family owned franchise.

Very old smelly carpet, doors were not painted chip paint all over… room outdated, funny smell… and old squeaky beds.. they need to reinvest in this places it’s not up to par.

Waited 30 minutes to check in, desk clerk had to go upstairs to check to see if the rooms were cleaned because the clerk didn’t answer. Rooms were old and needing updates, elevator needed new seal and paint. Heating unit was loud, fan in bathroom was too. Just needed to be overhauled with updates.
