When we first arrived at the hotel, we approached the registration counter, but no one was there to assist us. I knocked on the door closest to the check-in desk, and the attendant eventually came out, but she didn’t say a word. I greeted her, yet she still remained silent. I found this lack of communication to be quite rude.

I had a mixed experience during my stay. The microwave was inconsistent, the fridge leaked, and the coffee machine didn’t work at all. When I brought these issues to the front desk, the staff was rude, which was disappointing. The manager did mention he would address my concerns, but I'm not sure if anything was actually done. The breakfast was mediocre, and the cleaning was subpar. We even ran out of bath soap, which indicated that housekeeping wasn't thorough in checking on essentials.

It was okay... I didn't like the fact that my room was located exactly when you got off the elevator. So all night, when people would get on or off the elevator or be waiting for the elevator to arrive, we heard them talking. That room should be a staff only/storage room or something. Very weirdly located. The food was okay... Not kept hot enough.

Not happy with cleanliness!
The service was fine. Young lady was very polite who checked us in. However the room was smelly, desk chair was peeling and wobbly, and there was a pair of dirty socks from previous clients left on desk! Sheets and towels were dingy and did not smell clean! Shower had pubic hair and so did bed! I normally travel with extra sheets just in case but this time I did not.

Holiday Inn Express NOLA is it
The staff was excellent and extremely helpful. They greeted my family with a great smile everyday. The house keeping staff kept our room on point and made awesome designs with TP roll. I would unequivocally stay here again.

For 3 days we reported the bathroom shower was leaking water all of the floor. For 3 days the maintenance guy attempted to repair and each time the repair was not successful. At the end of each day we had towels all over the bathroom floor to soak in the water. The lobby was taken over each day for a family reunion. Trash bins in the lobby were overflowing every night.
