I came from Montreal for one day and a half, the stay at this hotel was amazing. Complimentary breakfast, drinks, food and a beautiful room with a gorgeous view of the city (Empire State Building)! I loved it so much because of the comfort and cleanliness! Also, customer service was very exceptional :) I will definitely be back soon :)

Outstanding location convenient to Herald Square, shopping, and restaurants. Just 2 blocks away from subway station. Bell service was attentive and personable. Breakfast had excellent variety and also offered omelettes made to order. It got very crowded. I didn't attend the happy hour but was happy to see that it was offered. Wasn't sure whether housekeeping only cleans intermittently; they only came to our room once during our 3 night stay.

I enjoyed the location, staff was friendly, parking garage connected to the hotel so easy to use b it is valet not self park, $50 for over night de ton price, room was small but understandable in city. It was under construction and not super clean but fine for the one night stay we had.

This hotel may be a known brand but our experience was not like when we stayed at other Embassy Suites and Hilton properties. The main problem is that the property cannot handle the volume of people staying there. We regularly waited 10 minutes for the elevator, sometimes walking down from the 20th floor when we couldn’t wait any more. The breakfast may have been great — but I wouldn’t know because after walking the stairs to eat we found crowds of people waiting for a table to open up, and others who had given up and were standing and holding their plates while eating, and we decided it wasn’t worth it. We had to literally turn sideways to navigate certain areas of our room. There were bagel crumbs on the sheets of the sofa bed where our daughter slept. And the staff seemed disinterested and in one case downright rude. As someone who reads these reviews and dismisses comments like mine here as just some aldisgruntled person, I want to be clear: I rarely bother to leave a review, and generally when I do it is to highlight a positive experience. But this place was not cheap, and it was SO not up to the standards I would have expected from Hilton and Embassy Suites (having stayed with both multiple times in the past), — and the people we interacted with at the hotel were all having a similar experience — so I want to warn my fellow travelers. On the plus side: the location is great.

The parking situation was good then, then bad .. chose this property due to the Ipark adjacent to hotel... Meaning park and walk into hotel through side door, which we did upon arrival. When leaving they closed that exit and was told I was told I needed to walk all the way around the block (which it was snowing) with luggage to pickup car from Ipark garage. Obviously didnt walk with luggage, but due to the location and construction to get back infront of hotel in took another 45 mins to get my people, when it wouldn't have if we just left from garage. Very rude bellhop with his mandate...

Christmas magic
We rented two rooms for a family trip. We were very happy with our stay on 37th st. The hotel is at a great location, an easy walk from Penn Station and Herald Square. Easy to get to Bryant Park, Times Square, and Rockefeller Center. The breakfast is very impressive and well organize. The reception desk was also vey friendly and accomodating. We will definitely stay there on our next teip to NYC.
