The hotel was easy to find and all the staff were very friendly. Check In was quick and easy and all of our questions were answered. The hotel only has one elevator, so if you stay in one of the suites at the far end of the hotel, it is a very far walk from the front desk to your room. While the room was spacious with a fireplace and balcony, it lacked any character. There was no art on the walls or any sort of colour in the room at all. It was all just white. There was no extra bedding in the room and the mattress was very firm. The whole hotel is in need of some upgrades. The pool area is very dated, but the outdoor hottub and cold bath was nice. We did not use the restaurant on site but did grab a drink at the bar which was nice. Overall it was a good stay but not great.

Nice stay with great views from room, friendly and welcoming staff. Got an early check in (14h30) without asking, as our room was ready. Very appreciated after a long ride. Took a walk in the nearby trails admiring fall colors. Did not had the chance to use the spa/pools but seem nice. We had dinner at on site restaurant with decent and afordable choices of meals and wines. Room standard queen, all renovated with a confortable bed, a sofa bed, a fridge and lot of space with baywindows facing the morning sun on the lake. Difficult to understand the bad reviews or we may have been lucky that day, but we really enjoyed our stay.

The hotel room was spacious but it could use some upgrades. The fire place was sub par and we were not offered fire logs. The man at reception was not as friendly as we would have liked. We didn’t get an overall vibe that Americans were liked at that property or town.
