Nice bar staff but reception staff and cafe staff unwelcoming. Foodstuff on curtains, bathroom door did not close as it was warped, vanity plug missing which left open hole and two chairs on balcony far too short as you could not see over brick wall to lake view. When this was mentioned as a suggestion to look at the reception staff just stated the manager won’t change this.

This is a beautiful property, however checking in was a riot to say the least. Check in time is at 4 pm. We came into town for a wedding and they would not allow us to check in early. Wedding started at 4:30. I would think for a wedding party they would be more accommodating knowing that the wedding started at 4:30. Front desk clerk could have not been more rude and unhelpful. We ate at the Lounge restaurant which was yummy! Friendly staff. Sunday was check out and their breakfast buffet stops serving breakfast at 10 with no other restaurants opening to accommodate the 2-3 hr waiting period until the other restaurant opens up late afternoon. In my experience when a breakfast buffet is offered on a Sunday it will typically include brunch items. This was not the case and breakfast ended at 10 am. The rooms were very out dated and need to be updated. The carpet is super old. The shower smelt like mildew, beds comfy and clean. N

Older hotel with nice amenities and pool. Only hotel on Lake Powell, but also inside the Glen Canyon Recreation area, so you have to purchase a pass. Lots is buses coming and going. Beautiful sunrises.

A very nice hotel in a perfect location. The view from the pool and the restaurants is amazing. The breakfast buffet in the morning is very good.

Great location. Lovely main building. We were in building 1. It was very noisy. The curtains were dirty, shower walls and shower curtain needed a good scrub, no stopper in sink, had to work to stop a leak in the tub.

The place is situated by the lake leading to the colorado river. I like the fact that we can walk around the property and surrounding area and view the gorgeous lake and canyons. I wish that somehow the listing would warn people that you need to pay for the grand canyon park fee in order to access the hotel/resort.

Incredible views, great dinner at the Rainbow room, easy parking, convenient to launch a boat. Stayed in main building 4 that connects to lobby. Claimed there were no king bed rooms available, 2 queens were very uncomfortable. No way 2 people can sleep in one bed! 2nd floor has no AC in the hallway or stairs. No ventilation either. Plus you have to be under 5'5" feet to be able to walk around in the hallway or rooms. No elevator to 2nd floor! The rooms had been superficially renovated, but looks very sloppy. The tub in the bathroom continuously dripped water. Shame on the staff that accepted that as appropriate. I have stayed in other buildings at this property that were in much better shape.Beware of where they put you in this property. Good thing the Lake and the view is here, otherwise i would not waste my money.

Except for the fact there is a daily $10 charge to enter the Lake Powell Park it was excellent.
