Great staff don't make up for major inconveniences
Pros: friendly staff, free breakfast/parking/wifi, almost complete renovations (will be better next year), beds are pretty good, AC in the room is quieter than usual, nice view Cons: - You have to literally ask for everying to be refreshed as room cleaners are not allowed to enter rooms without front desk permission. They say its for pricacy, but it ends up being quite inconvenient for the guests. - No fan in the bathroom. No way to refreah the air inside, plus its so humid that noting dried even if left hanging overnight. - Bathtub was missing a stopper so I could not guve my young, beach/pool soaked kids a bath. Huge kudos to staff who did their best trying to find a stopper that fit - several trips to our room. Unfortunately, none of the ones they tried fit our bathtub, so we were still SOL. But I dod apprecaite the attentive service. It must have gotten mispalced after renovations. - Hangers are the ones that you can't use outside of the hanging rod by the door. Its a beach oriented hotel. Regular hangers that could be hung up in the bathroom would be useful! - Sliding doors at the front lobby and elevator are on their last legs - super slow. Not really a problem but it doesnt give the best of impressions about the property, especially when you just arrived.
