Torn flooring, mouldings with chunks missing, cigarette butts all over the entrance to the hotel, maid service practically non existent even with card out didn't even bother to tidy up and restock, called us to keep noise down even though we were away and not in the room. Dining room was great, front desk staff on last day were great only reason they got two stars.

Hotel was clean and well maintained. Beds were comfortable although the pillows were huge so unusable. In hotel breakfast cafe had good food for a reasonable price. In room coffee and fridge were appreciated.

Asked for a late check out. Said it was no problem, but they started banging on the door at 11am and then phoned the room. We spoke to them and sorted it, then they phoned my cell twice. If you need a late check-out I'm assuming it's not something they normally do. Even if they say so.

Not as quite as I would have liked but that was down to other guests and not the hotel itself,the front of desk on arrival was cheerful and polite,unfortunately the same couldn’t be said when checking out,other than that everything was great,one criticism I did have was there where no usb ports at the bedside table which just something noted and didn’t reflect on the hotel as a whole
