Most staff were unhelpful and lazy. A couple were exceptional - friendly and accommodating with a simple request. One morning no hot water with no apology. Breakfast staff however offered a free latte and apologised which was were happy with - no hot water was only for about an hour. Very comfortable beds. Very very small rooms.

Cleaner dropped glass in room that obviously smashed and they didn’t clean it up so glass went into my foot . Rooms are also very tiny and the doors slam really loud so as constantly woken up . Otherwise it was ok

Reception staff at check in were disinterested and inattentive to the point of utter rudeness. Our thanks to reception staff this morning for being such a sunny comparison. The room was small, dark, dirty. The bathroom and fittings were cracked, aged & peeling. The breakfast was overpriced & extremely basic with limited choice. Spills and stains on furniture & floor.I had to ask for gluten free bread and was given a gluten muffin, to which i am reacting to now. It was by far the most overpromising yet underperforming hotel we have ever stayed in. Despite its marketting it is not new or boutique.

Positives: staff, great interior design, location close to city and Kings Park, affordable Dislikes: only really the room itself - it’s tiny, the sink is tiny, office desk is tiny, the toilet is so low you think you are in a primary school. It was clean and all that but it reminded me of one of those small Japanese hotel rooms I guess if you only use the room to sleep it’s ok

Mainly I didn't like the decor at all - and it was a tired in the ensuite (not well constructed vanity was chipping). The room was also very small as others had mentioned but I guess I thought good design would make up for that - unfortunately it didn't. Great area.

We chose this property due to proximity to Kings Park. It is very convenient for accessing the park. Breakfast included was on special and it was very good. The staff are friendly, informative and efficient. We found our own parking on the street which you must pay for with an app. We found out later parking at Kings Park is free while visiting the park which would have made parking the next day cheaper. Some paid parking near the park is available all day but it is not that cheap with the easy park app.

Most unpleasant experience I have ever had at any accommodation. Couple in the next room started fighting at 2am, and there was clearly violence involved. When I alerted staff, they did not respond appropriately, check on my welfare, follow up or let me know of any outcomes/action they took despite knowing I was a woman staying alone in the next room. When I raised it while checking out a day early the next morning, they clearly did not care. I left in tears.

A great location to explore Perth with the beautiful backdrop of Kings Park. The hotel was modern and clean with a great vibe in the lobby areas, good music etc. My room was compact and functional with lovely views and good quality bathroom amenities. My only issue was being sold a Danish pastry with mould on it. When I told the staff member his reaction was “oh, that’s the morning crew” rather than apologizing.

Very slow check-in, though it was admittedly late at night - 9.30pm. Room was snug - only just enough room to walk around the rather high bed. Otherwise facilities were adequate and of good quality, if a little shabby in the bathroom.

The cleanliness, comfort, service and food quality were excellent: the highlight is the look of the place: it's gorgeous and clearly great attention to detail has been paid to how everything works together, from the lighting in the rooms to the specific chairs and decor in the common space. The location and proximity to a specialist that i had an appointment with was a bonus. I had originally booked for one night and feel that is the optimum stay time for this property. One or two nights, short business stops. The rooms are very compact. The Very comfortable bed dominates the space, clever space saving techniques have been incorprated into the design of the room with a shelf along the wall under the television, hidden storage under the bed and hanging in the bathroom for towels or perhaps a coat hanger. A full wall window with optional blockout curtain helps to open up the small space as does the clever use of artistic lighting and mirror placement. There is some overlooked by maintainance wear and tear in the bathrom and warer did leak freely from under the glass shower partition into the miniscule toilet cubicle. There is ac or dry air only, if you feel chilly you need to dig out the space heater which is in a cleverly concealed cubicle with an iron and hairdryer and you can request extra blankets from reception. Parking is an extra $30 subject to availability and how many staff members are parked in the spaces at the time. There is paid street parking out the front and nearby streets. The bar/restaurant area is welcoming with varying seating options for couples wanting semi intimacy to a boardroom meeting breakfast. Grab and go options also available in the fridge to the left of the bar provide healthy and tasty options at a fair price.

Room was clean and tidy and reception area lovely and modern . However the staff customer service was shocking night staff questioned me several times regarding name and booking even though was already checked in few days previously then gave me incorrect key fob poor effort and couldn’t be bothered helping to busy on this phone , housekeeping came into my room on check out at 8:30am asking is room free! That’s never happened before ever check out 10am so why come in earlier. The staff really let down my stay at that hotel they need to be more customer focused as that’s the industry! Won’t stay again and will be telling others
