This property was as secured and quiet as I ever have seen. If you love fresh fruit, desserts, and variety of meats, this place has it. The bathroom experience is one that you will have t adjust, but once you learn the shower mode, you will be ok. The jet massage in their pools is excellent for those who need a back massage. "I shall return" is my motto.

The rooms were old and the shower was moldy in some areas but it was still clean I would say overall. The beach and pool areas were great. The drinks were strong enough for me and service was fast. Plenty to do without leaving the resort if you like to just relax and hang around. The buffet could be better though.

I believe the stuff could have been more friendly. They need to have good customer service skills. More attentive. I didn’t like the jacuzzi was not cleanned when we arrived and I had to called twice to have it clean. Also the suite had cockroaches . For been our first time there our experience was not exceptional. But overall we had a good time at the beach

The property overall was beautiful and for the most part clean. Check in was a little slow we waited about an hour in line to be checked in, however I was grateful that our room was ready before 3pm. Majority of the staff did not speak nor understood English. This was very bothersome because it was hard for my family and I to communicate with staff. I was very upset that guests were allowed to smoke everywhere on the property. There should have been a designated area for smokers to smoke. I traveled with my sister whom is pregnant and it was not pleasant for her to inhale smoke the entire time on our trip. Service at the buffet was horrible. We spent 6 days on our first day eating at the buffet we were greeted and serviced with water and a drink of our choice by the staff. The remainder of our trip we had to constantly call for a staff member to provide us with water and drinks. Let’s not mentioned the fact that for the 6 days we spend at this hotel we got turned away from one of the buffet claiming that it is full. It did not matter what time of the day we attempted to eat there we were always turned away. It seems like staff were mostly catering to Hispanic guests. The best service/food we had was at the restaurants. I was disappointed at the fact that I had requested a complementary cake at La Brisa which was confirmed by two staff members in guest service, however when we got to the restaurant a cake was not provided. We were told the reservation was not made.

Staff was rude in check in and kept delaying my checkin. Checkin time was 3pm. I arrived at 2:30 and was informed that I was able to check in early. Didnt checkin until after 430 and walked into a room that didnt have working electricity. I was then moved to a room farther that worked in my favor but was not compensated for the manners of their staff until I issued a complaint. Once done I was compensated with a comped ride back to the airport.

I was very excited for this property but left feeling a little let down. Pros -Beautiful scenery, Lounge area, pools, lawn and beaches were very well maintained! Every morning the beaches were cleaned of washed up seaweed, and any trash that was left. The lawn and greenery was very well kept, there was maintenance workers clearing of weeds and trimming bushes. -Alcoholic beverages were good - Entertainment was good, family friendly. I enjoyed the outdoor theater. - Kids pool area was well maintained and kept the kiddos entertained for hours. - shops on the resort were very nice and easily accessible. Cons -the restaurants do not smell good. There’s a certain smell that I can’t put my finger on. I want to say sewer. And even when walking outside you would randomly get a strong smell of sewer. When you step into a restaurant you want the smell of delicious food to hit you but there wasn’t a smell of food at all. -Food was terrible. There was a variety of food but it really doesn’t make much of a difference when it’s not good. I basically stuck to bread and fruit while I was there. -The fancy restaurants that required a reservation were pointless because the food that was served was still food that you could recognize from the buffet tables. They were just placed in a fancy way on your plate. -All the food was the same, pointless to have multiple restaurants when there wasn’t a change in taste or variety. (1/2)
