What I dislike about bathroom it smelled of urine the toilet boil brush was keep next to the toilet with a watery substance. I realize when i dump it the urine smell went away. Lucky enough I travel with Clorax wipes. I don't think something like this should be kept inside the guess room when House Keeping is coming in every day. The food was okay at best you can definitely tell the food was recycled. But the staff was outstanding with being helpful. I read the reviews so i didn't expect to much.

Just OK, nothing spectacular. The hotel is very old and you can quickly tell it needs some TLC. The AC's in the room don't cool very well and take away the moisture, my books and clothes were all damp. Some areas have mold, toilets dont flush well, but the showers were great. The liquor was bottom shelf at best. Most people are drinking beer and champagne for a reason. Very underwhelmed with the quality of drinks. Food was pretty good. Buffet near the pool was great for lunch. Water park was a good 15 minute walk. There are many Riu hotels on this property and the water park is shared by all. The park itself was fun. No alcohol or food at the park, just sodas.

My stay at RIU PALACE PUNTA CANA WAS HORRIBLE . yes the employees service was great . It wasn’t them it was the HOTEL OVERALL overall it was a mess especially for them to be get the amount of money they get . Sports bar / Lounge had little to no food selection only boiled hotdogs that sat out all day , cold cheese & hard bread . Uncooked mega burgers with no condiments . Electric went out consistently within the whole hotel and in order for yours to work in your room you have to insert your key on the wall and play with the switches in the room . You have to ask for covers . Room smell like mold and have a muggy moist feel in the room . Room service terrible . Only have PORK PRODUCTS.

Good morning, I check into the resort on 11/22/24 , where I expected to have an amazing experience, however I was met with several problems. Upon entry to my room 1011 my outlets did not work so I was unable to charge my phone. I immediately went to the front desk where they sent someone to look at it. The man juggled the cord and it came on and that’s what he explained I had to do, which was very unsafe. On Saturday 11/23/24 while trying to get ready for a big birthday celebration I was here for I had no power at all due to the power going out in the entire resort. I called for someone to come assist leaving me standing in the hallway for a period of time I went to the front and the man at the desk seemed to be upset that I was upset. My room was changed to 1011 , however I missed my ride and lost $150.00 deposit out down. Sunday morning when I woke up my purse was full of tiny bugs and I was dumping them out. I was so disgusted and outraged. As I was leaving the resort and scared to miss my ride I left for the day and was gone all day and was not able to speak to anyone. When arrived back to the resort I found roaches on my bathroom sink and in the shower. As I was packing my bags on Monday 11/25 there was the same small bugs that was in my purse coming from my suitcase. I had to remove everything and shake it out and they were falling out a lot. When I started looking closer I had a bunch of bugs on the beads well. As I was leaving out my room to go to the front a roach

The room was on a floor level almost a mile from the beach, the dresser was falling apart, the AC rattled, we found a roach, the linens and furniture where spotted with paint the shower was half broken and the ice machine in our vicinity was broken the whole time
