Up on a mountain overlooking Radium, the property had a fantastic view. The suite was spacious. There was a small kitchen with a microwave, mini fridge and sink with a sign stating ā€œwash the dishes if you use themā€. Living room with TV and couch and a patio which was lovely for watching then sunset over the mountains. The couch in the living room was broken and the door to the room was difficult to open and we struggled with the key. The bedding was not the most comfortable but we still slept well (bring your own pillows). My husband and I love sauna and chose the Radium Chalet because of the sauna advertised in the hotel amenities list and in the photos. When we arrived at the property, I enquired about where the sauna was located and was informed by the employee that the sauna is no longer is in use (please remove the photos and mention). Overall, not a bad place for the price, but you get what you pay for.

Great little Gem
Fantastic simple but comfortable place up on the hills overlooking radium Hot Springs. Very clean and comfortable and all the amenities I was very very happy and will gladly stay there again that was a first time, but that will be top of my list. Next time I go.

The setting is gorgeous, but the room (bed, room layout) is uncomfortable, the front desk clerk was rude, we seemed to have interrupted something. We WON'T be returning to the Hotel, but we will return to the Hot Springs, we'll just stay somewhere more welcoming.

Nothing like the website. Very disappointing.
This is an old tired hotel. Numerous years of neglect. Sorry we booked here. Shower was full of black mold. Everything was rundown and in need of maintenance. Too numerous to list everything. The photos online were shot 25 years ago would be my guess.

No heat turned on. Had to ask for after a cold night thinking thermostat broken. Deadbolt broken. Missing x2 light bulbs. Blinds on door was broken and filthy. Fireplace did not work. Sofa was totally worn out and unusable. Extremely poorly supplied kitchenette. Bedroom window broken glass that was taped together with duct tape. Absolutely NO service...ice machine in main lobby which was locked from 5pm to 12noon thus not available to use. Front desk in lobby was "open" 12noon to 5pm when manned. Property and rooms in desperate need of repairs and updating. Needs TLC. Service needs to be greatly improved as non-existent. No garbage collection and no garbage bags available. Had to buy our own garbage bags and took garbage out of room to a dumpster off-site (bear country so didn't leave around). Room could be awesome as scenery from balconies was absolutely gorgeous. Location of Chalet on mountain side is perfect for providing a fabulous view of Radium Hot Springs.

The only like about this property is the view, other tham that the room is dusty its like havent been clean for years. The bed shetting and extra from the drawer is dirty causes allergic reaction and the smell terrible like it has not been clean properly. I am not going to recommend this property

Property was just OK. It was a big weekend in Radium Hot Springs so we were limited, and paid way too much. Would not recommend this hotel. Balcony was surrounded by weeds and debris.

The place needed a good vacuuming. The bathroom fan was filthy and the tub was rusty, the air conditioner was filthy. The kitchenette was a joke. Creative photos on line made it look bright but it was gloomy. The separate bedroom had the door removed. The coffee maker didnā€™t work.

Nastiness Hotel of all time
Do not stay here!! We travel a lot, this was the nastiness hotel we have ever stayed at. The bed was super hard, pillows were lumpy and the sheets and comforter was stained. The bed also smelled moldy and musty. The cleanliness of the whole place was disgusting. We couldnā€™t shower as the hold/cold tap didnā€™t work so the water was boiling hot, the toilet didnā€™t flush. There is no employees on duty after 10pm so we were able to have anyone come up after we checked in.

This property has improvements made in the interior paited walls white trim and crown molding. Paneled glass door between the sleeping area ang the living area. The unit was vacuumed in the visable areas. The bed was clean the rest was not clean. Dust was visible on the floor boarsd the small kitchen area was not clean, the coffee machine and coff supplied was not clean , the bath / shower has a scum build up, one of the drawers had some of the previous tennant items in iy. Under the bed was very dusty plus a brown paper bag and a vape pipe labled THS which was placed in the paper bag and placed in the garbage can. The hideaway couch bed was stained ans should have been dumped when the room was painted. The bathroom toilet water hose has a visible layer of dust on it. We stayed in the unit for a maximum 6.5 hrs.and left by 6 am. Other then the poor cleaning it is a quaint place.

Ultra quiet. As building is concrete skeleton. Great value rack rate seeing as was peak season & other props were $250-300. Building is elderly but solid, yes, the fixtures & fittings are uh- ā€œvintageā€ and ā€œwell lovedā€ but it doesnā€™t really matter as everything works. Kinda feels like a mini your Grandmaā€™s apartment. Could it do with a lick of paint & some refitting? Sure. Does it make much of a difference once the lights are off & your eyes are closed? No. Iā€™ll probably stay again, it has a cheesy charm to it.

This place has so much potential but i feel like itā€™s not being taken care of. The property indicates a sauna but it doesnā€™t work. Also says fireplace in every room but ours didnā€™t work. We tried to ask but could rarely find any staff. Also no continental breakfast even though again, they advertised it. Overall the room felt somewhat clean but the outside door had a gap. It still locked though. The ice machine was clearly broken even though we were told he was cleaning it. This place has a beautiful view though and nice walking trails in the back. If some TLC could just be out into it, I feel like it could be rented out all season long!

There were no screens in the windows. Flys in the room and spiders. The smell in the room best described as dirty. Cracks in the drywall and mold on the balcony. The bed frame was broken and the bed was barely being supported. I wouldnā€™t let my neighbours dog stay here. The place should be bulldozed. We were supposed to stay for 3 nights but left after 3 hours. Just couldnā€™t do it . That disgusting. No refund of course. 600 bucks wasted.

We loved the covenient location and fabulous view. Liked 2 room layout w fireplace. Staff smelled badly of body odor and not available in mornings. Older property needing some tlc but could tell it had been great in past years. We will stay there again.

My husband and I recently stayed at the Radium Chalet, booked through Expedia, to celebrate our wedding anniversary.Unfortunately, our experience was far from pleasant. The room was unclean, with soiled toilet facilities, dirty surfaces, and visible hair and insects, which made our stay uncomfortable. Despite reporting these issues to the front desk, no alternative accommodations were offered. We sought a resolution through Expedia, but were told that refunds are subject to the hotel's policy. Given that we did not voluntarily cancel but instead were faced with unacceptable conditions, we believe we were entitled to a refund. Both the hotel and Expedia failed to address the situation satisfactorily. It was a disappointment.
